ok just took a jedi mission with a good jedi, ive beaten him before, hes saber is max 712, my armour is tantel 8k damge all ab sliced all adked.

power attack 1640 b4 armour 1022 after (repeatedly) after armour break

saber throw 1100 b4 armour 680 after

body hit 1050 b4 armour 654 after

head hit 1200 b4 armour 780 after

give or take a few points

hitting every 2 seconds (fair enough)

These numbers are the type of numbers i used to get hit with when i wore comp no ab sliced, its my first loss in 7 weeks in the end i ran out of mind, somthign is terribly wrong, my mind regen didnt seem to be working that much either, but saying that i was healing a lot.

CAn you take a look sam see if thers a problem ive never been hit like this with the above armour ever.

Before I saw who posted this I was gunna laugh at another nub BH who couldn't take down a jedi. But coming from you Akast, I trust this info.

Akast i noticed this too, Our armor is not absorbing damage most of the time, i encountered this also, i seen the jedi innate armor work fine though and its aura seemed better...

MY armor is in top condition/resists too as yours... something is wrong our armor is just not absorbing dmg most of the time

yeah i would never cry nerf, or just moan cause i lost. im sure somthign is worng and it effects us all so i want it looked at.

I wish they'd make Cortosis armor, that would be hilarious. Just watch the sucker's saber boucnce right off and then put one between his eyes

i wonder if it has anything to do with the SL buffs problem ( i dont men i had them i didnt) just that the tougen and call to arms only works if your not wearing armour (so works for jedi) and not if your wearing it

No, none of us had SL Buffs it was just a test duel to see if my armor was absorbing correctly and it was not, innate armor looked to absorb fine though.

Those damage before armor is normal from a 710+ dmg LS without SL buffs of any kind, i've noticed though the AB sliced armor doesn't resist AB as well as it used to before pub 24.

loooking at the amount of dmage mitigated by armour from my numbers (around 40%) i have to conclude that AB slice isnt working at all CAN OUR BH CORO do hes job and see whats going on please!

My guess is that the Dev's screwed something up.... Although, personally i have to say that i think armor break slices were a bit overpowered to begin with simply because most jedi do little to no damage unless they have their target's armor broken.

As a BH and a Jedi, i Think BH have it way too easy. with my BH, i can walk up to nearly any jedi mark, just blast away and kill them easily. I remember pre-cu where as a ranged BH i had to stalk my pray, wait for the most opportune time(buffs wear out, tanking something big etc.) then strike. I followed targets around for hours some times to get the right moment. Because of this i was one of the few Ranged BH that was successfull at taking down Jedi Masters pre-CU. Now a days though even without armor break sliced armor, (and i can only use battle armor as i'm a carbineer) I take little to no dmg against jedi, and can kite the living tar out of them so i stay out of range 99% of the time...

The only times i ever loose to a jedi is when I'm on a planet with tons of hills where kiting is next to impossible, and the Jedi is smart enough to stay in a gully waiting for me to come to him, or when i lag out and end up dead hehe. truethfully, it's rather pathetic that most jedi have a very hard time standing up against a simple BH. A full template jedi should have a fairly easy time taking down BH(not walk in the park easy, but a skilled BH vs a skilled jedi should put the jedi with an advantage, not the other way around)

That being said, if what you're saying is true, armor overall seems to not be working. I also noticed that Force Sheild from Enhancer doesn't work against NPC's, so i wonder if maybe there is a larger problem and all non-innate armor has been toasted.

I'll test it. What did your combat tab read regarding armr. absorption damg? did u turn on detail?

yeha I posted about this a few days ago, cept I was getting hot for over 1k without them useing ab. Althought I only have around 6100 energy resist they can hit us with ranged powers attacks for more than we can hit them for. I think it's time for a break.
