What are the Devs currently planning to do with Jedi Missions and droids? Which will work, how accurate will they be? What is the official word? (Searched Top 5 Issue threads and the responses are ambiguous)

Just got investigation 3 today, popped open mission (no its not a jedi mission) and took it. I did the usual thing, and it was on naboo (yay!). I decided to use the find & track command, did it, the droid tracked it and said it lost its target.

Is there any difference between find and track or just find? Or is this another one of our bugged skills? Thx for your help in advance.

Track works on a probability scale with your "effectiveness" mod, I think. At Invest 3, my droids really tracked (i.e. updated) in about 50% of the cases.

Since I finished the Invest line they track practically in 100% of the cases.

Whats the most items a droid can hold? I was told upwards of 50 if its super good but all i can find is 10 item storage. any help is apprecaited and if you have some uber droids with high storage on shadowfire let me know where!

Max is 10 per droid.
You can have 5 droid in your datapad.

That's why max is 50.
It's max in droid per player.

I just started rifleman and I almost have rifles 4. My question is what kind of droid shouldI use to tank for me? I have no idea what's good and what's not, and have rarely even used any droids at all. What type of droid is good for rifleman to use as a tank? Thanks in advance.

You are not likely to finda droid that makes a suitable tank for much more than lower end mobs. However f you go this route, I believe Probots havethe highest armor ratings. So get a Probot with the highest armor and combat rating you can. Check with a droid engineer to get more info.

Glad to help.

BEs can make pets with higher HAM at the cost of lower damage. Since you are not trying to get CH XP, you do not really care if the pet is doing much damage; you just want the pet to keep their attention. So you can try getting a BE level 10 (i.e., non-CH pet) with high HAM. The advantage of this over a droid is that you can get pets buffed, making it an even more effecitve tank.

Bear in mind, however, that they do not want non-CHs being able to control pets capable of doing what CH pets can do. This is one of the reasons they dropped non-CH pets from level 15 to level 10 (*sniff* I miss Jeb, my Mountain Krevol, and Chad, my Cowardly Gurreck.) And sincepets got hit hard in the early stages of the Combat Rebalance, andsince the Combat Rebalance is still in progress, pets are not as effective as they once were or probably will be again. So, like the droid, I would not expect even this setup to tank too high of Mobs for you. But it can't hurt to get one and see how big of Mobs you can use it against.

I would suggest an Advanced R3 droid with 1 combat module and 5 auto repair modules. The 1 combat module gives the R3 the ability to attack, while the auto-repair mods keep it alive a little longer.

Bye Bye, Bria

This post cost me $15.

Thanks again Sotaudi, I'll go look for a bioengineered pet.
