Force cloak for jedi, can't be seen, that's fine. How bout a Personal Radar Cloaking Device for MBH? Only fair, a MBH can be seen at all times, but cannot be tracked on radar. Kinda works in the reverse of the PSG, starts at 100 and slowly works down to zero so a MBH isn't always cloaked from radar, but when tracking has the ability to "cloak radar" when we get close enough to still keep the element of suprise. C'mon, throw us a bone, we need to track our targets, not wait them out at starports or camp out in front of a house or etc.

Bump this if you think it's a good idea and if it becomes a hot thread maybe someone might notice (LOL).

But seriously, input please.

They say you should never hit a person with a closed fist, but on occasion it can be hillaroius.

I think since Cloak is not something EVERY Jedi has, then maybe have this radar blocking thing require "something" extra, just don't know what..lol

But yeah.... that would be awesome

Maybe useable by both Jedi and BH, so that when we find em, they can run and get off our radar too??

I don't know... DON'T FLAME ME... hahaha

i think they should just make it a BH skill make it available at say....4xxxBH but maybe only allow it to work for a couple of minutes but not forever (i.e. cloak)

Speculations/opinions/ your input is all good and great but hold onto your butts while the nerf bat winds up and slams a homer...was already mentioned that cloak is not being used as intended. we'll see what happens

Just so they don't have to further mess with the skill trees they could make the PRCD with requirements like a weapon with skill requirements of Master Bounty Hunter. Hey, make it a quest through Boba Fett to get it. Call it "Boba Fett: Tricks of the Trade" expansion and put a few other handy hunting devices in there. We have to have something to help us remain stealthy in hunting our prey.

It sounds like a cloak-like ability will be availble to everyone soon if they choose to spend the skill points in ranger after the ranger revamp.

The chances of BH getting a similar ability for no point cost is pretty unlikely.

has been mentioned on these boards a few times. Hopefully will be added, but with ranger getting a revamp then i doubt it.

It is a cool idea, would mean that we wouldn't have to waste skill points on other professions and keep the ones we have.

I would like to see somthing like this a crafted item... perhaps add a system where certan proffesions can modify crafted items... like take a BH buying a PSG and turn it into a radar scrabler, or a smuggler turning something else into a scrabler to get past a checkpoint.

BH can have an effective "cloak" now, it's just that you cant be MCM/MBH FOTM as well, you will need MRM skill to use it so that means dropping MCM.

Jedi can get cloak but then they cant be the FOTM MLS/MDef template - they have to give something to get cloak - we have to give something to get cover, same thing.

It's the old rock, paper, scissors thing again. With the flexibility we have in making templates it is actually possible to be Master Rock and Master Paper, if we could just buy an item to make us scissors as well that would be game breaking.

"cover" is not as effective as cloak; its laughable that you even mantion the two in the same sentence.... have you ever used it?

I would love to see this for all players, actually. They would be very shortlived, and the second you get into combat, it stops.
