Thread: Tell us why you are leaving the game....

I think the question isnt why people are quitting as much as why people are wanting to stay. Even the post-CU new people are getting upset, and they are only getting a taste of what all the Vets have been putting up with for a long time now, and are slowly but surely leaving.

this game is beyond unbalanced, bugged and broke. I quit playing my jedi, i am gonna quit playing BH cause i hate spending an hour in kaadara finding a jedi i can track (i don't go to kash, sory i just don't). Instead of focusing on the bugs and fixing the problem at hand they are constantyly working on small stuff for the future, like our 36 month vet rewards (which are just more damn holograms). Thats another who year off, they can mess with that crap later, work on the problems that exist now!

True. When you have a 2-year veteran rewards consisting of holograms and rugs, who wants to stay for that?

to be honest, its just hard to take this game seriously, its not starwars when there are hundreds of jedi running around.

god i hope Lord of the Rings Online doesnt have a problem similar to this, like thousands of player wizards running around the servers.

It wont be too bad. As long as SOE isnt part of it.

I'm not quitting yet, but I'm damn close to. While BHs are definately better off than a year ago, this game just isn't "starwarsy" any more. I see almost more glowbats than mundanes at the major starports and hunting locations.
This game is flooded by r0xx0rs, kiddies and lamers, who give a sh!t about anything but their own l337ness.

Think of it this way : For every Jedi that you see, that Jedi has an alt toon. So if the Jedi population on a server is, lets say, 25% of the total population...then that means that fully 50% of the server population is either a Jedi or Jedi alt.

The way things are going, it wont be long before Jedi are the most common profession around with thier Alts being used as "Something else to do".

I don't. All of you who whine need to try other MMORPGs, SWG is a good game and it offers loads of content. If jedi/bh system is not perfect this doesn't mean entire game broken.

If you are one of the people who send jedi hate tells, send reports to CSR and scream 'xploiter' when paddy runs for the LOS .... yes game is very broken for you and its best for you to leave.

Pre-cu when MBH sucked there were few of us, but we loved proffession and it didn't really matter to us that dancer has same amount of defense as we do. We learned to play with what we had, and I took pride in wearing my Master Bounty Hunter title. I had people do /salute and /wave to me since it was very rare to seea MBH person. If all of people who get pissed for no reason leave, well MBH will once again become rare and respected.

This game is very easy to level and understand comparing to other MMOs out there. I took a break from SWG since I got tired of all the BS about Jedi/BH issue. All this whining, complaining and downgrading of ONLY game I play got me, and I asked myself "Maybe I am being too tolerant of SWG and it doesn't stack to other games ?". So I decided to try other MMOs out there. Most of other MMOs have 1 or 2 good things about them, but besides that they are dull. AO, Eve, FoM, WoW have some goods about them but they are NOT perfect, the more games I tried it became more and more apparent how much SWG is being unfairly downgraded by its player base. This game offers LOADS of things for players to do, you are not limited by your IP (like in AO) you can make your character what ever you want, you can learn what ever skills you want.

No other game offers this much of variety and flexibility as SWG, but this comes at the price of Bugs and glitches. Right now I feel disgusted by players that send SOE to hell and accuse developers of being lazy and game of being bad because they can't get their quest reward or because jedi they were hunting ran in the LOS zone.

With amount of proffessions SWG has to offer you have unlimited choice of activities you can do. If you say "this game has nothing to offer" you are either extremely lazy or extremely arrogant. Using your head helps when you play SWG, as a bounty hunter you can always go roleplay or Hunt outlaws. There are plenty of high end Mobs and dungeons to hunt in and explore, most of the players simply disregard them. You can always go and hunt with your buddies ( FYI hunting and shooting is the ONLY part of many other games). With plenty of POIs you can always go exploring and fight at POIs. Finally if you get bored from ground game you have JTL one click away, JTL offers non-stop action even after you master pilot. There are plenty of challenges out there, DS, duty missions and Kessel. JTL is great source for faction points and its very intense at times. If you get bored of JTL try getting a black sun ace helmet, run some duty missions 1 VS 9 dogfights are extremely fun. Last but not least you can always PvP and have fun with GCW. Taking out bases is challenging now and requires lots of team work, yes you will need a Jedi for it. PvP is not dead, you don't need to be Overt in Theed to have fun with PvP. Get few buddies together and start a PvP tournament for non-jedi characters.

And you still want to quit ?

Because of comments like this...(PROVES THEY DONT PLAY THE GAME!) Clueless!!!

Why must it always be a conspiracy theory? It is as simple as I was working on BH/Jedi missions and ran a few NPC missions and went "Wow, these are lame, Why would anyone want to do these?" So I came into work over a weekend and made some new challenging Marks, created some new loot, and re-itemized.

It was as simple as something was lame, I thought I could make it better, andfixed it up in my freetime.

Not everyone is about the PvP game, and even those that are like a bit of respite from it every now and then. Plus withnice new loot on there, who wouldn't want to kill some Marks?

*I have cancelled 2 accounts but thanks for doing what your doing BLIXTEV...Just wondering when your not on your own time what they have you doing...?LOL

Ok..The "entire" game isnt broken. I can still mount my speeder...

But other than that a great many things have been brutalised by the devs. Taking the Jedi/BH issue out of the equation, there are ALOT of problems that keep coming up in the form of Bugs, and poor customer service by the Devs, and horrible planing by the Devs when putting out unfinished products (pubs) wich just create more problems and ruining the game expierence.

Crafting gets bugged with every patch. Professions are getting all beat up every patch (Just ask the CH's). But yet you want us to just hush up and "make do". To find a way to work around the Jedi? No way. The people are quitting because they arent paying SOE to have a game expierence where we have to "make do" with our professions, They are quitting because they dont want to pay SOE to change the game mechanics every other patch.

Just think...for every one person that has posted that they are quitting....How many more do you think are quietly quitting?

Can this many people be wrong?
