Added another publish note:

Profession: Combat Medic, Doctor's and Medics

  • The Advanced version of Bacta Shot, Bacta Toss, Bacta Spray, and Bacta Jab will now heal more damage than the Improved or standard version of the same ability by a medic with the same Healing Efficiency
  • Players will always use the best version of the bacta heal available to that player

Assume this means your MBH/MR/Pistoleer xxx3/Medicxx2x toons are about to get the nerf stick.

I'm in the same boat though lol. Guess it's time to drop pistoleer all together and invest in Doc or CM.

Basically the FOTM is still gonna be that, but those of us using Medic 0020 are screwed up the bunghole now. Its actually one of the few times i've seen the DEV's FORCE people to play the FOTM.

You know what the sad part is. This is gonna hurt the new people the worst. It wasnt the skill that was "overpowered" and now, the newbies wont be able to heal very well, which means they will have an even more difficult time grinding.

This was on TC yesterday and I really didn't notice a difference in my heals. My build is mbh/mcarb/0030 medic. I'll look again tonight to see what I'm healing for, but I didn't feel nerfed yesterday.

No. Tiggs has it listed with last night's publish version so it should be the current version (TC has not been down today that I know of for a new patch).

I'm wondering if this is yet another way of hurting the BH templates against killing jedi because not many people use the doctor skills in their MBH templates. They use CM. Well Advanced Bacta Shot isn't in the CM temp ...it's in Doctor so that means that our Bacta shot's get nerf'd which is our best heal, which leads to more jedi being able to kill us.

Agree? Disagree?
