Has anyone ever toyed with the idea that a bounty hunter should be able to fight another bounty hunter if they're after the same mark?

they were already thinking about this for failing too many missions, sounds good to me

According to the BH creed no BH should interfere with another BH and his hunt for the mark.


Generally Speaking if I'm already fighting a Jedi the other BH should walk away. Or he can wait till the jedi kills me and then kill the jedi.


A BH should never wait for 1 BH to Incap the jedi and then move in for the DB. That is just wrong. IF they do this they should be tefed againts the other jedi.

I dont think failed bounty hunters getting their names on the terminals is a good idea but having to bounty hunters being able to attack each other while tracking the same markwould make it feel more competitive and exciting I think. If anyone has read the Bounty Hunter Wars books would think that this would feel more Star Warsy too. Competing for your mark sounds like a lot of fun, but would also let the jedi know that there are two bounty hunters after them if they saw it going on. Also another bad thing I thought of was that when one bounty hunter dies in the fight they would tell the jedithe name of the jedi thatis looking for them and the bounty hunter's element of suprise would be gone.

What constitues a failed mission? Aborting or getting killed by a Jedi? Would having a jedi BH kill you mark be a failure?


I have aborted many missions why? Jedi Hides in a house(I don't have time for that), Jedi Is on Wookie Land(Don't have time for that) or Jedi logs off line(Again I don't have time for that)


I have lost a few missions because Right after I get teh bio sig, launch my driod some other BH killes the mark. How is that my fault if I just took the mission and never got a update from my droid?


If a jedi kills you that is a faliure but them being 1.5x as strong as any other level 80 combat profession It does not make you a bad BH they are stronger and you are at a disadantage.

I can see it now...


Bounty Hunter Joe is approaching his mark. The Jedi is grinding on a group of Bols. He is with a group of friends and doesn't seem to notice Joe. They are done with the lair and Jedi Tim is laughing with a group of friends. Joe attacks. *Vroooommm*Tim's LS ignites.The Jedi is at half health. He runs for his house. Root. Down to a quarter of health...


Jedi Tim: No, WAIT! I'll pay... *Tim gets incapped*


Joe is running for the DB! But wait, he collapses on the ground. He is taking severe damage. He gets up only to be hit by a blaster bolt that sends him straight back into the ground. DBed.


Bounter Hunter Bob approaches Jedi Tim.


Tim: Thanks man, you saved my life. But how were you able...


Knockdown, Critical, DB.
