Thread: Action Regen Bonuses Do Not Work At All

Thats right, I ran tests with another guy for20 minutes. Tests involved us firing our weapon at each other until we got the message "You are to tired to do this." We both ran tests with and without different foods and spice, and would carefully count the amount of shots it took until we got this message. In all cases the amount of shots were alwaysthe same or off by 1 shot more or less.I removed my sac pup to drain my action more quickly, and always ended up with 14-15 shots before the message. What does this mean? Well until this is fixed, only use food and drink that ether increases total health, or have a direct benefit such as parwan nutricake or synthsteak. Also, consider using booster blue for your spice if you use healing in your hunts.

interesting. What is your Temp? weapon SAC, etc. And has anyone else noticed this or can confirm this as 100% factual? If so , I have been wasting a lot of cash and time with action regen foods. I always thought it did make a difference though...but that merely could be because I EXPECTED it, and thus THOUGHT it was faster.

Well that settles it. Not that I didn't tryust you Whynter. Yoru exploits (not explouits in teh game sense, but deeds) are well documented. One of the more lethal BH's , by reputation It is jsut good to confirm such things from more than one source. And since it is comin from the Chef's mouth, I trust it to be truly accurate.

What dose this mean, though, for us now? Should I Destroy any regen foods I have in stock? save them? eat them anyway?

Suppose now I have to re-evalute my entire strategy. Here I was, relying on action and health regens to keep me alive. And They dont work to save my life. Explains a lot, really. 46s/48s really isnt a difference at all. Now, 46s/30s would be great.

First off dont desroy that food. I'll assume thatthe devswill adress this issue. Second, there seems to be a big debate regarding if it works on the chef forum. Read the full thread I posted for the overall picture. My personal tests show to me at least that they did nothing worth the stomach fill space. However, I often use Mando wine asI like the health bonus as a drink, so I can save food space for sythsteak and parwan.

Perpetuating a myth I'm afraid. Regen foods DO WORK but maybe dont work as you expect them too. Because regen is so slow to start with, spamming specials tells you virtually nothing. You need to completely deplete HAM bar then time how long it takes to get back to 100% with food and without. This rumour keeps arising because we cant see regen stats since CU. Tryit for yourself and you will see that regen foods decrease regen time by about 10% BUT THEY DONT STACK WITH THE 20% FROM SPICES. If you pop a Booster Blue then the Spiced Tea will NOT do anything, without the Booster Blue the Spiced Tea will give a mind regen bonus of about 10%.

I have tested this so many times recently that I am even starting to doubt, but the results of EXTENSIVE testing always seem to bear out the 10% bonus. Firing off Headshot2 5 times IS NOTextensive testing.

Tell the next Jedi you fight that his mind regen food is not working so it's not worth his while taking it and see what reaction you get (I guarantee the word "noob" will figure prominently in his reply )

Who the feq is this clown? #1 Tea and booster do stack, it's been tested many many times. #2 Whynter doesnt just run a 5 shot test then make a decision, i've helped em test stuff before and it's much more extensive than that.

Again I ask, Who thefeq is this clown?

I've noticed a difference when I use my foods when fighting elite and boss marks. I use booster blue, accarragm, synthsteak (right before I attack), kanali wafers, snow cakes, and sometimes crispics. I haven't timed anything but I do notice my action and mind regens skyrocket when using this food combo. It regens much slower without using any foods/spices, etc
