Thread: Watch out for mission thiefs.

I hid in the hills and waited until my jedi was low on health and then I assaulted her from a distance with my rifle... I get down to DB and in the middle of it, I get an incomplete mission because she is dead. So I wondered what happened and found out she grouped with a friend BH that had her mission incase she was losing. So when DB came he was the one to do it and deal the blow get the money, and continue grouping with the jedi for the night. Watch out this might be a trend.

not likely to be a trend, the time involved in pulling a specific target is too much
and the friend can only hold the mission for 3 days tops
sounds like you just got unlucky on this one

I think anyone who is capableof attacking them at the momentcan DB ifthe target is incapped, so it didn't have to be a BH. It didn't even have to be the Jedi's friend.

It would have had to be a BH in order to get the Misson Incomplete.

Yeah, I doubt this is widespread at all. It's extremely hard to pull a specific mission nowadays.

seriously jedi now stay dueled with a friend if they think they're being hunted,that way if thet get ambushed and incapped,the dueling friend will db so Jedi get a non-BH death and hence loses no xp.

If the Jedi did as the original poster did, he still would have lost xp from another BH killing him so that plan would be pointless

i've ehard of a jedi getting 5 bh friends to hold his misison so other bh's can't take his misison,but I guess the 'removing names for terminals' fixed that. very exploitive though. and could still be done(if 5 people take bh misisons and track em down till they know for sure hwich jedi it is,then do that until they get thir friends,but hey people are depsrate for not getting on terms).

I don't know why these glowstick guys just can't learn to stop flashing their glowstick in public.

I here ya about the mission thief. I was hunting a mark in Yavin and it ended up being in the out post and some noob came along and tried fighting it. He was a CL50 VS CL82 boss. He got owned. Beware the thieves are out there.

I found out what happened today... She had a friend in the group DB her in these situations.. I think we should get credit for the kill if we deal 99% of the damage...

I think the answer to this question would have to be
1) this is a game and they are paying to play just like you.
2) The Lightsaber or (Glowstick) as it has become affectionatly known is the Weapon of choice, and the only weapon used by the Jedi.
3) just to annoy the piss out of you, because everytime they pay their monthly subscription, and log into the game it is for the sole purpose of making you feel bad, and cry.
I hope that helps in answering the question.
Now onto the OT.
They probably died by being DBed by their friend. Either that or maybe the creatures they were fighting DBed the Jedi.
I serriously doubt that the buddy of this Jedi was a BH, and had his mission. It would take too much effort to always have your friends mission when you went out hunting.
More than likely this post is meant to stir up a non-issue, and should be treated as such.
