Thread: My interesting experience with the BH TEF.
Why give you the satisfaction?
To answer your actual question,
who knows, who cares? Why give you info so you can better exploit a game sytsem to your advantage? I'm content leaving you in the dark. Find out for yourself ingame if it's that important for you.

Moron. I don't run from BH fights. I was trying to clarify the problem.

Ok, so anyone with two braincells to rub together want to chime in?

Is it something that only happens on occaision?
it's buggy. you fought back so it worked as intended. I took a mission on a guild mate to take him off the terms once. I opened fire inside the cantina and got booted as I knew would happen and I was stuck in mid air outside the front door for 30-60's, my mate had to come out to fight me as he did not attack or had no chance to hit back as I was booted. the tef thing is really messed up. you were locked out as you should have been.
Was it because I was already ejected from the cantina?
I would think so.
Was it because it was a public structure? IE, is the TEF only not working on private structures?
my experience was in a private structure we both had admin rights to or at least I did.
And why would a BH run if they're losing? I mean c'mon, ya got nothing to lose, why not stick it out just in case something silly happens and you get a chance at DBing the guy?
re group and think of a different approach maybe? I never run, I fight to a conclusion everytime. I even accidently ran to water while I was kiting a mark once and I was losing. as soon as I hit the water I came back out to face the music which required him to only hit once or twice to end it.
Thanks. That narrows it down somewhat. It's possible that SOE's coders don't know what's causing it to remain exploitable and if we do enough of the work for them they'll fix it.

I once killed a mark in an out of the way area on Dath. Took me a good 10 minutes to get there. A Knight there did the usual grief duel, "fight me punk!11 scared?!?? Y U gotta pik on paddies?!?" Or something like that. I forget the exact verbage but the intent was the same
Anyhoo, I accepted the duel and let him kill me for the free ride back to the starport.
