so if they're in a group of 8 jedi you aren't frantically tabbing as they pull out their speeders

Only one should be attackable and be targetable with the cycle enemy key, shouldn't it?
But ok, its a reason, still stupid it only works at 1km range.

For me, it only works at 1m or so. Anything higher and I just get one track and a "lost target" message.

I've had it work all the way across the planet before. The only time it doesn't work for me is when the Jedi is cloaked.

I have had it work at slightly over 1k but not much. I have also had it work on cloaked Jedi but they were within 200m. How the heck would you know if they were cloaked at the time you did this unless you could "see" them?

I'm pretty sure that's the way it works because I've tracked a cloaked bounty to his waypoint, used the identify target option and still didn't get a name. When they uncloaked for a second, I got a name.
