Thread: So mad at a Few Jedi who condone this...
There is a post stating the /duel, /endduel is not an exploit. If you were to read it you would see I am on the side of the BH community on this one. So since a few wish to condone it I posted the following. I could hear the screaming now if this were put into place.
I have an answer to the whole thing. If you start a /duel you are obliged to /duel for a 5 minute timer.
This fix went in because a FEW BH were looking for unfair advantage, The few Bh that used it screwed the rest of the BH community by causing a FEW of the Jedi community to start using it against them. It will backfire, mark my words. Justify it any way you like, sit back and watch this get hit and cause us grief. Could you imagine if the proposal I made went into effect?

LOL.. I LOVE IT! But instead of a timer, leave the duel offer open until the person challenged either says yes or no.
Or better yet, remove /endduel from the game. LOL. If you challenge someone to a duel it should be to the death. None of this pansy /endduel crap.

I've had it back fire on jedi a few times. i get challenged to a duel while chainsg a mark who saw me coming so i accepted the duel and db'd him then continued my hunt and got the mark too. 2 for the price of one i guess. The dueler asked me why i db'd so i said (as i always do) "Cry some more jedi noob"
hrhr
must have been a jebay lol
But on the topic:
No matter who you duel, the system message should be: You challenge xy for a duel.
Exploit fixed without giving a new one...

Even as a BH, I still think that my biggest problem with duels is that people who aren't even *in* the duel can heal your opponent.
I think thats why there is a /endduel in the first place. Or it would be a "nice" way of griefing.
IMHO there should be /duel and /friendlyduel (no db possible) but no /endduel and something like the BH TEF on both duelists...

second that!
how can it be an exploit?,i dont see the big deal if a jedi is within /duel distance hes within killing distance so just attack them and stop crying about it
simple answer
/duel;
/startleshot;
/underhandshot;
/macro duel
should make sure they don't try it again.

didn't it used to be that duels did not end until both parties used /peace ?
