Wow after reading about the new fixes that we have recieve I decided to try them out myself but *gasp* to my surprise I don't have any weapons besides a Launcher Pistol and 1 guy selling Flamethrowers is trying to sell em for 75K!!! Hmm, with that in mind and the fact that the Commando class is working as intended.... *cough* bull**** *cough*... it is time we commandos make the momentous decision
1. Do we stay gimped and fight with the devs to get them to see our vision of what a commando should be knowing full well that despite the increase damage of our specials a dude with a pistol/sword/ bare handsis going to outdamage your Rocket Launcher/Flamethrower/Grenades any day and that there is no light at the end of the tunnel
2. Give up this class for one that actually works... i.e. Pistoleer, Dancer, Smuggler etc
3. Quit the game
I choose 2... im going to drop Commando first thing when I start needing skill points to reach my NEW goal of Pistoleer/TKA/Smuggler. Like many of you I was convinced by the hype that Commandos were going to be badasses and grinded like hell to get there as fast as possible. I, like many of you, waited patiently in gimpness for the fix that would make us worthy of that grind. I'm a little ticked off about the Dev's response... I had my hopes for them. I thought that it was just a matter of time all they had to do is to figure out the coding for it all and then we'd be set; that it was all a mistake and we would soon recieve our vindication. Turns out I was just wasting my time as I'm sure many of you feel as well. I don't like wasting my time.
From this moment forth Commando is a dead class to me. If I see one I will think he/she is a dancer in terms of combat effectiveness (actually the Dancer atm is more useful). Im not sure on how the Devs will come around to seeing our vision. Perhaps if ALL the Commandos quit or switched professions they would notice and think "Hey, something aint right here!" Nah... more likely "Cool, no more Commandos .... gives us more time to work on giving Pistoleer's holsters, dual weilding n stuff hehe!"
O well, what are you guys gonna do: Stay gimped w/ and in the dark, switch professions, quit?

Besides.. i'd never jump on the **edit**ing bandwagon to Pistoleer/Bh/Ch

Commando for life (though my life may be short should I decide to use Commando weapons).
I'm content with the progress they've made, as long as it keeps coming.
I can play commando like this for the next few weeks or so, but they still need to stop the LP's using Pistol Specials and forcing us to be Pistoleer's, I wanna see the LP become a Commando Weapon, not a pistoleers weapon that Commando's can use to level.
But for the time being I will stick it out.
Medic is 15 pnts, necessary IMHO.
That leaves 18pnts which is novice artisan + survey I. Also, I am not interested in surveying. I am lucky to have other peole do the surveying and just let me know where to put lots up.
Honestly judging by your train of thought posted previously, it appears you are interested in PVP primarily.
So, the best thing for you to do would actually bring your medic skills up to be able to use the best stim's you can. Some bleed moves stim b's have a hard time keeping up with.
Somehow I ended up posting blank, sorry.
Here is my dilemna with the infamous 33 pnts:
I can go
2/0/0/0 medic
0/0/0/0 Pistoleer for Bleed and speed + accuracy.
0/0/0/0 Carbineer for bleed and spped + accuracy.
Option 2:
0/0/0/0 Medic
0/0/3/0 Pistoleer for stopping shot or 0/3/0/0 for speed + accuracy or 0/0/0/3 for defense.
Option 3:
0/0/0/0 Medic
0/3/0/0 Carbineer for Crippling shot or any other line 3 up.
CH or Ranger is not an option.
