ok, so i get a mission on a 225k jedi, hunt him down, find him on teh rryatt trail. he runs, cloaks, comes back.

he asks if he can pay me to leave him alone. i say "1 mil, no lower." he says "lol" i say "ok, have it your way" then he says "well, lets go a bit lower" i say "ok, 700k" he says "ok"

he pays me the money, uncloaks and starts grinding.

i stick around and kill a few wookies (for the quest)

then i see him being chased by 10 wookies (he had already been incapped 1 time before i came) he got incapped. (i still had the mission) he got up and i shot him 1 time, he was incapped and died. i recieved my payout.

i was a good sport about it and rezzed him, but i felt a bit bad.

in your opinion, was this good or bad to do? accept pay from him, then kill him

it is perfectly fine. If you play the game as a BH, you should be tricky and evil. Thats the BH way.

i dont think you should have took the money off him and then killed him, because hes lost 700k and a shed load of XP.

you should have at least gave him his money back.

Splitting hairs and it could go either way.

I hold a rule that screwing a character is fair game, but screwing another player is taboo.

Personally I think taking a pay-off and then doing a DB crosses over into screwing a player.

Id always take the money first, do something else for a few minutes, then go back and kill'em. Win win scenario.

you should give back the 700k, if not the whole 925k. if that jedi tells other jedi they paid you off and you still killed them you will have a tough time getting the next guy to belive you.

Its a tough situation. On one hand, I hate jedi. That parts simple. On the otherhand, I accepted money in return for not killing him, but killed him after. I didn't return the money. That parts not so simple. By rezzing him all you accomplished was saving him the 2 minutes it would take to shuttle back to kashyyk then force run to where he was grinding. Everyone seems to be testifying cloner exp loss is gone. Personally if I were in the situation I would have paid him back. He just lost 500k exp. Of course, to be honest for 3x the payout, I would have just walked away with a smile on my face.

it actually reflects the state of moral in RL world and its sad

for that amount of money you should have helped him and not shoot him in the back lol

The jedi wasn't smart. Plain and simple. If he'd made sure you dropped the mission he'd not of had to die. /hatsoff to you.

all he had to do was /duel to see.

That was pretty sleezy. You can tell yourself whatever you want to about your reasons for it and why you did it, but in the end you broke your word to another person and thats about asdishonerable as you can get .
