Thread: Does anyone not DB a Jedi if they don't fight back?

I've done both. There were a couple of occasions where their friends said my mark was afkso I didn't db, but there have been a couple of occasions where they didn't fight back but I db'd anyway. As said already in this thread, it is their mistake for leaving the keyboard. If they can't /sit and take the 30 seconds to log out, it's not our fault. Also, just because they don't fight back doesn't mean they're afk. I killed a relatively well-known/powerful jedi the other night while he was hunting pikets. A few minutes after I got the DB he sent me a congratulatory tell saying he didn't even notice me as he was distracted by guildchat. But, I can see some jedi still saying this was not a win.

Funny story about one of the jedi I decided not to db - I picked up his mission the next night and he accused me of exploiting, knowing full well that I didn't db him while he was afk the night prior. Sometimes, you just can't win as a bounty hunter.

If they're AFK, subject of the KD bug, unable to attack, in the middle of a spin group on Dantooine or stuck in a tree, I will still kill them. Why? Because the same could happen to me and they wouldn't show mercy on me.It's all part of the game.

If they put themselves in a vulnerable situation, they run the risk of dying.

Show no mercy. Isn't that rule #1 as a BH? I certainly don't show any nor do I expect any in return. My job is to complete my mission, I don't care of the Jedi is AFK, LD, sitting on daddy's lap or walking their dog in the park at the time, if I have the mission, I'm going to do my best to complete it. I did however fight a Jedi to a draw this weekend. He was out of force and I was out of stimpacks. LOL Sometimes you have to walk away I guess. (He didn't realize I was out of stimpacks, had he known, he wouldn't have stopped LOL)

Bwahahaha....thats funny.

on topic...if a Jedi is dumb enough to go AFK in public, then they deserve to die.

Jedi said:

" i ran because i had no force or i would have killed you"

I guess we could say we lost/ran because we ran out of action, otherwise we would of won

Lot of stupid players in this game.

The smart jedi carry a house with them that they can setup when there going to be AFK. Or better yet just do a /logout command. Then log back in when your ready... Pretty simple, so I figure if there retarded enough to go AFK in a public area then they deserve to die.

I once had a Jedi say that he won (even though I had killed him) just because I had 'cheated' by using foods.

What I don't get is why anyone would bother sending a tellanyway. It's not like it's going to get the exp back (or grant you lost Bounty money in respect to BH's). No matter how bad or repentant the BH may or may not feel afterwards, you're still out that exp and yapping about it just makes you look like a child.

I have "handled" several Jedi in my career. It's a game and unless I am really hunting for the cash, I usually let the Jedi live, why not. That is unless he exploits me. Running into a house or guild hall and stuff, after I spent hours looking for him makes me a bit cranky. It's a game, and I have yet to hear of anyone really dying at it. Enjoy

Some jedi would even complain about the forced PVP. The solution is simple, don't get vis. Many jedi were able to keep themselves off the terms PreCU, why not do the same post.

First off, if you did not collect your bounty when your ran the Jedi out of force, then he did in fact win, and you did in fact lose (possibly only for the moment). The logic behind this statement is simple: When the BH wins, he gets credits. When the Jedi wins, he keeps his XP. If you do not take the XP, you do not win, Hence, you lose.

As for your statement about vis, you realy don't know what you are talking about. ATM, vehicles give vis, corpses give vis, and the noobs that constantly drive through a mission give vis also. Even if a Jedi does not equip his saber in public, or not wear his robes in public, or does not use the force in public, he will still get vis. It is a Catch 22 for Jedi atm.

Sorry to burst your bubble there.

All depends on how many houses, kash missions, and dwb missions I get before finding that one Jedi. Mainly do it for the pvp aspect. The money is crap.

If they are on my cloaker list...stasis users ect. I don't give a **edit** what they are doing. They are getting DBed.
