Thread: Statement about Cloakers

Guys come on give us a beak will ya. those who get Cloak, lack certain Defenses. Cloak is our Defense because it allows us to choose our battle's. Fighting as a Person with Cloak is different then someone fighting as a person with some defender,it's alittle tougher for us Cloak users.I do the same thing as Most Cloakers, If my enemy looks like I can't defeat he or she then I cloak and decide to either continue fighting or run. I know the timeline is screwed cause there are to many jedi, but consider this. do you really believe that if a jedi knew they couldn't win they would just decide to continue fighting and let the Bounty Hunter Kill him? I know it's a pain for you guys, and I know your upset that people cloak and run but that is our Defense. I've had my Share of Death's because the BH's that kill me Never Let up, they stay on my neck intill there standing over my Corpse. I sympathis for you guys i really do, but i mean come on show alittle sympathy to us as well.

So would you really have a problem with it being moved to the Master Box?

Thats the problem. A lot of Jedi just want that very effective getaway without giving up too much. Sure they give up a little, but nowhere near what you should give up to be able to Cloak.

Yeah I agree Dude, however Most of the Post I read say they want it Nerfed. Puting it in the master box. yeah I believe that would make a difference. however that's not what some people are asking.

It's too much to get it nerfed. Just make it make more sense. I mean, whats harder Choking someone, or making them think you're not even there? It should definately be in the Master Box.

Defiantly making like your not even there 
Hopefully They will put it in the master box, then maybe things will Settle down a bit

my big problem with cloak is it wasnt intended to be used when the jedi starts losing, root, run, cloak, /t bh i woulda pwnt joo NEways nub. Devs didnt want it to be a way out of a fight for a jedi after they're almost dead.

they need to fix the cloak where if a jedi has a dot on them they can't cloak its stupid i can follow a cloacked jedi cause i can see the flames be right next to him and can't target him devs need to fix this i understand if a jedi sees me coming and cloaks and runs but if he fights and gets a dot then decides he'll lose he can cloak when 10m from me and stand there on fire and say i can cloak forever so just leave me alone

All I can say about it is cloak should have a TEF and or Cooldownsystem applied to it. If you use cloak to run, fine by me. But when you cloak as soon as combat ends and I can't enter player housing and am stuck with a 5 min TEF against my now invisible mark, then something ain't right. Same for uncloaking. The 'insta-attack' soon as cloak drops needs to be given a cool down timer, just like manyother powers in game.
I've summarized it to others like so:
If Klignons could have uncloaked their ships and immediately fired at a Federation ship without a wait time, then cloaked and dissapeared to repeat the tactic, the Federation would have long been dead. (yeah..Star Trek analogy in an SW board...sorry)

i hate teh fact that i can use a bomb droids on them and they dnt uncloack. and u say jedi wourlnt fight if they new they would lose?
Erm episode 3 when the temple was stormed?

- Distance is 20m
- Dont leave him alone. Continue tracking him, he will get angry about it and either log or uncloak to fight you.

if it is in the master box - i think it would be fair if it was more effective - ie, works once you get say... 10m away from players and ticks for less force
OR
put an advanced version in the master box taht ticks for less and works closer to characters. (ie, 10m)
