Thread: getting tired of hunting jedi lately

its hard enough finding a fight these days but when i do, i know if they dont die in first strike im 90% sure there gonner run, and my snare never sticks. i know its a jedi job to survive and they shouldnt lay down and die, but when ther happy to try and kill me, untill ther mind/force gets low, then they dont wanna fight. my last 25 hunts have ended in 20 jedi running and the other 5 dying. just getting a bit tired of it thats all.

Yeah I hate that as well, but it's not like they're forced to stay and die... As annoying as it is I respect that they can and should do that to avoid death...even though I always stick it out and die when I run low on mind...

I like the ones that run into their houses and then threaten to call a CSR if I don't leave ahahaha. Oh yeah, that's fun.

Earlier today, I was waiting outside a private strucure for a jedi and all his friends were hate telling me. One threatened to treport me becasue after he called me gay, I said " No, but then again I'm not the one wearing a dress" (Whiche he was)

i dont mind jedi running - i would too- i just hate the ones who think its greifing if u follow them...

which makes me an exception cuz i am one myself. i cant STAND my whiney brethren. these are the same ones that dont want to be hunted aka NOT having forced pvp via hunted by bhs....

I think the main reason Jedi don't stick around is because of MCM beeing overpowered, if you don't have very high damage (like a good saber full of good pearls and MLS) then you don't have much chance to beat them. Its a better 1v1 profession than anyone else has, the heals that were on TC should have gone through in Pub-24, maybe not *as* high as I've heard, but at least double what they are currently. We have to sacrafice ~15% action per heal, and thats kept down low by trying to keep the MCMs healing.
MBH/MRifles at least is respectable, they use tactics to kite you instead of just standing there outhealing your damage. Its nothing but frustrating fighting a MBH/MCM. BTW, I'm 1 death for 26 BHs ran from a 3 at once ganking and another time when I was low on force before he even started attacking me (thats since early October). Nearly all were MBH/MCM.
The best BHs are the ones who catch you in the middle of 50 npcs and land the incap and deathblow.

And did it ever occur to you that removing forced pvp would go a long way to solving these problems? If the BH knew when taking a mission that the mark wasn't likely to run, because they like pvp and they are happy with their template and/or ls, then the BH would stand to benefit. Basically, it would make it possible to match a willing BH with a willing Jedi, they both are cool with PVP and chances are it would be more satisfying for the BH. That's precisely what the OP is complaining about -- that there's a large number of Jedi who don't want to fight (and perhaps justifiably so).
As Jedi keep getting nerfed, it will probably be harder and harder for BHs to find missions for the ones who'd be willing to fight... and chances are those that they get to fight are the ones who can still pwn most BHs.
When players don't like to pvp (or at least to be in forced pvp), you can't make them accept it by giving them weaker templates and make them face someone who has all the advantages the game can offer (first strike, AB resistant armor, fully capped weapons, powerful debuffs, etc).

If players dont want pvp then they shouldnt be jedi, its a pvp prof, why do you think all forced ranked jedi were overt. dont complain about forced pvp because its not,
