Thread: Price Check On Tissues--Please Help!
In Wanderhome, I sold an entire run of BSN 80, for 40k a crate in one fell swoop. My pricing scheme is based on the nutrition. 40k for 80, 50K for 100.
I hear Wanderhome is cheaper than other servers though. I'm guessing that in Bria you can ask for more.
i sell nutrient supplements for 35k, 45k, 55k for light, medium, heavy, respectively
i sell hyper yeast and dimate/pentamate for 5k cheaper.... they don't really sell though, so i might drop those down a bit more
Here's my prices:
25-30k - Light

I think some of you are selling your tissues too cheaply. Might be because you're on a different server, but if I were some of you, I would definitely raise my prices.
Judging by how much chefs *cough* brandy *cough* sell BE-ed food for, I'd say you're right. On my server, seems like the norm for brandy is about 200k a case (some lower quality is less, some higher quality is more). The BE component of this is by far the most time-consuming and expensive to make.
Wow, I must be really selling low or something.. I'm still at tissue 3 and make light and medium nutrients with the mediums having 70, and I'm selling them for 8.5k for the lights 13k for the mediums. I used the BECalc and got this price off of it. I also lowered it as I'm not a master yet and the quality is a little lower. I'm on radient server. Is this a good price for just getting established?
Hesi Meto,
Copia, Naboo
I'm on Bria and I sell:
Smalls: 25k per crate 55-56power
Meds: 45k-50k per crate 85-86power
Large: 65k per crate 115-116power
I have received only one compliant over my prices... The person insisted he could get it cheaper to which I replied, "I'm sure you can
gl".
Week later the guy places a 20crate run for meds and 20crate run for the smalls and a 10crate run of the large. Was done the next day sitting at his vendor ![]()
The difference between me and a lot of smaller MBE is I can access over 8 factories and I have 100k stacks of high end meats and millions of units of high end flora.
You need a large order and you need it done NOW all a customer has to do is drop me a line and by the next day it is done... Unless of course I get several large orders at once... then it might take an extra day or two
But that only happened twice.
However, I will say this:
While every BE has a right to set whatever price he wants, selling your final product UNDER the value of theingredients you use is just not smart business.
The meat I have goes for 20-100cpu and the flora I have fetches 5-10cpu. I use that as a baseline for my final cost in conjunction with the economy of the server I play on.

Grab BECalc 2.0 from http://www.geocities.com/tinman_au2
Enter the prices for the resources you used (or the going rate for your server if you collected them yourself) and select the Tissue from the list. Then it's just a matter of deciding what profit margin you want to use...
