Thread: 200k... is that too much for a pet.. no matter how good?
considering what a PITA it is to gather the components of a good pet and the amount of money I could make in that time if I were a combat profession running missions?
No, I do not think that is out of line. As in anything else, however, an item can only be sold for what the buyer is willing to pay.
I just made a lvl 58 creature with 55% kin resist and around 11k on the HAM. It also does 500-510 in damage.
I was going to charge the guy 150k and it sounded very reasonable to me.

I'm actaly doing BE at the moment myself, because its hard to find one that makes good pets and because its interesting in and of itself.
Sorry, yes it has armor and only one special which was Dizzy.
Thank you all for the very good replies. To follow up;
Can somebody please post,... what a good pet IS.

it depends on what you're using your pet for....
if you mainly pve and need it just to tank, look for high health, armor, 60% kinetic... stun, intimidate, blind specials
if you mainly pve and your creatures are your only combat skills, look for the same as above and high damage, fast attack speed (faster than 2.0), high to-hit (.35+), high damage or strong poison
if you pvp, look for good overall resists and overall HAM.... cold, electricity aren't as important, restraint isn't even an available damage type, so ignore that one as well
look for the same attack types and basically any special will help
JayceMilam,
- Is the pet armored? If so you want as little Vuls as possible.
- If it is unarmored you want a petwith as many VULs as possible.

Electricity is a must have for FC characters my friend!!!
One of the many reasons BMB/BMBQ rule all else IMHO ![]()
My PA leader Jedi friend (guardian 4-4-4-4) hit my BMB/BMBQ derived clone with dozens of force lightenings before the pet was almost incapped.
Also very good for PvE NPC FS characters. I think, ATM, FS NPC arent using their FS specials anymore (like NS) butI heard they are fixing this.
