Well, the other thing about electricity resist is that this is what bounty hunters use when they use their LLC's

If you're going to be fighting against bounty hunters in PVP, you definitely don't want to have either acid or electrical resists.

A good pet is VERY imprecise. It essentially depends on what you want. However anything above CL22 ought to have armour and decent resists in at least 3 types ( going up to accross the board on a CL70). Decent resists being at the lower level probably 40% or more, max being 60%.

My thoughs excatly, It seems there are those who would base a good pet on what someone else would recomend also rather than taking into account on what their specific needs are.

One vendor was selling pets for 200k is this normal?

Well, I can't honestly answer this question, becauseI don't believe that there is a answer for it.

I think a lot of people may base on what they can make for a profit rather than fair pricing. I usually check out all of the vendor and all of the shops that I can before making a final comparison. Not to mention that pricing is not the only thing that is factored in. For example, when looking for composite armor I must have visited at least 37 different vendors. One of them was selling armor which was sliced for 175k a piece (meaning each pice of the full armor was 175K) no matter what the condition was of it. Therefore, the entire armor suite would be 157.5k or 1,575,000 credits.

Did I think that this was fair. I couldn't really say. I only know that even in game every business man/woman has the right to subject the pricing as they see fit depending on cost, effort, time and materials spent on each items for sale.

However, that dosen't mean we have to buy it. We could just as easliy move on or make the choice to seek out another vendor which we would find more reasonable.

In addition, I'm not a easy customer to lure in as some have found out. If i feel that the person who is selling is shady, orthey give me the run-a-round. They will not get my business no matter how good the product it. There is a old saying in customer service which is "Your customers will always remember your mistakes or bad service rather than the good service that you grant them.". That much still holds true.

I just made a lvl 58 creature with 55% kin resist and around 11k on the HAM. It also does 500-510 in damage.

I was going to charge the guy 150k and it sounded very reasonable to me.

Does it have armor?

And which specials?

Depends on the spec of the creature. CL10s for instance are not at the moment tricky to make and as such shouldn't command high prices. OTOH a high level pet with decent resists could easilly top that amount.

I have 4 "good" BE pets. 2 pairs.

Pair 1: CL 31/32 11.7k H 9k AM light armor 60% kinetic, 9% effectiveness and a bunch of vulnerabilities. One has damage of 450-460 other is 500-510. These two have a combined effective kinetic HAM of over 110k, not to mention thier high damage can keep agro fairly well. These are my creature tanks.

Pair 2: CL 33/37 11+K H 8k AM light armor 60% energy, one kinetic vul other 35% decent effective resists, few vulnerabilities. Much lower damage however 200-300 range (don't remember off the top of my head). These are my NPC tanks.

I have had BE's tell me that these pets aren't so great and they can make something better, only to come back later and tell me they nerfed BE.

Price tag on these pets: 1mil... each... worth every credit too.

Bare in mind these pets took the BE that made them about a week each including time to get all required samples to make them and conduct generational cloning. A "good" BE pet isn't going to be the result ofa lucky combine, its the result of fine tuning certain aspects over multiple generations. I believe my pets are 4th or 5th generation pets. I consider 1mil credits for a week of the best BE in my galaxies work cheap.
