Thread: Endor and me
I will share that I have made 4-5 trips to Endor over the last 2 weeks, and I have had repeated success finding Merek Harvesters, Death's head, and those Mandreck? Screechers. to the North in the Brown area of the map, due north of the outpost.
These are all around nice DNA creatures in my book, they have armor, they have HAM, and boy can they do some damage. If you don't already know, watch out for the Screechers, they have a plague that you do NOT want to experience. I had to leave last thursday, because I was out of wound heals, and my Action and mind bars were gone, I had maybe 50-60 left on my action, I had brandy to get samples, but without the action bar i was stuck.
*mantigrue
and yes, the plague strike incapped me down to 1 health and all the rest wounds in three ticks
this little guy packs quite a punch, i just wish we could clone their attacks ![]()

I messed around on Naboo studying DNA and recording samples etc.. and making trash pets for Slipstream to tame for CH xp while we milked faambas for resources.. etc.. So got DNA 4 easy...
Went to Endor eariler this week and came back with 16 very sweet samples (I think)... I forget how many of each, but the Bordok Ancients I got about 6-7 samples from.
I got two samples from BloodSeeker Mite Queens (2 queens)
One sample from a Bloodseeker Mite Guardian.
1 sample from a blood-fenzied Boar Wolf (I think this one was the prize of the day).
And 2 samples from a Kliknik Queen.
And didn't die.
I saw some nice Deranged Mantrigues too, but they would aggro before I ever got in range and didn't see one off by itself.

Ahhh! This is my fifth attempt if this doesn't make it I quite, of coarse none of you will ever know... lol.
Anyway, what I was going to say is that I bet some of you are MBE & MCH like myself, so as you are taking these down for DNA, you then tap the lair hoping for a baby or worse case more smaples. I just wanted to throw a warning to use caution if you decide to totaly finish off the lair for the xp for what ever weapon you have besides these. Why? Here is why. I had taken out 8-10 of these lairs including screechers, and then on the last one before I was going to head home (almost full of DNA 4 spots left) I set my caracter on attacking the lair while I purused my invetory admiring my samples. (no sound late at night) When I looked up and noticed I had the little blind status Icon next to my HAM, I thought what the? why am I blind? I closed my inventory just in time to see my self fall capped. Apparently 5-8 Merek KING Harvesters and KING TOXIC SOMETHINGS were running all over the place, then they clumped and sat on the lair. For some reason they had mercy on me and didn't DB me so I got up and decided to take a sample. Due to the clumping I thought I hada Harvester KING, but got a stupid toxic, got one sample and then he agro'd and they all jumped me and this time no mercy. When I got up off the concrete floor of the clone center I bought my 10th or 11th insurance policy of the day and went home... be careful.
hehehe.. out taking down a lair and reading the paper, eh? hehe
That's generally when all hell breaks loose. Actually, I bet it added a bit of excitement to the outing - except for accidently missing the Kings.
Death's heads and harvesters break mask pretty well, even with 70%. I've noticed they die fairly easily on sampling, and a lot of the lairs have just a dh and harvester. If you sample em to death
, you can tap the lair with a weapon once, peace out, and it'll respawn without aggroing on you. Seems like once I'm within the 50m mask range, they'll actually ignore you. Helps to have another nearby lair, they go out and stare at it.
The bigger lairs usually have the whole family and are very hard to approach. One of them - I'm thinking toxic battlelord, will aggro you even after you are working close up on another one.
Definitely smuggler's outpost for mereks, as someone said, 6-900m out is usually good. I love Endor, it's always a fun trip. I'll go there just to kick around and see what turns up.
