It seems that the area aroundScience Outpost is populated with more Arachne Warriors and the area around Smuggler Outpost is populated with Mereks and Bark Mite Burrowers.
I created a new waypoint when I saw a couple of lairs of the above animals and the next time I go to Endor, I just go to those waypoints and I often see the same animal in a surrounding area.

Yes, the northern outpost is a nice place to go. When I had ranger on my main toon, I'd head to endor to kill mereks for their wild meat. I then gave that meat to my alt for grinding up the other trees. When I'd go to Endor as ranger, I always found merek harvester or DH spawns about 600m SE from the outpost. When I would milk the spawns, I'd roam around nearby and continue finding more. When I mastered BE on my alt toon, I would go to that area (made a waypoint before) and sample away. Being master scout and mask scent clothing helps alot. Once I milk it, I go to the static spawn and clear it out. There is usually a spawn of mantrigue reapers nearby for my sampling pleasure. The incline you traverse as you're going to the plateau is usually a nice harvester/DH spawn point as well.

For those of you "tapping" the lairs just to get some more samples or try for a baby, let me let YOU in on something. I don't know what it is officially called, but I call it milking the lairs. You find one lair with DNA you like, you waypoint it, sample until all the creatures you want are dead (you can leave the ones you don't want alive) then you leave the nest COMPLETELY ALONE. Wander off and try to find another nest 5-600m away and do the same thing. Then return to the first nest, and SURPRISE, when the nest respawns when you come near it, it respawns with a whole new batch of creatures. You can go back and forth between the 2 until your pack is full, then leave them for the next BE

The only disadvantage is the fact that you don't get the possible "nest kings" or whatever they are called, but to me its a fair trade just to find 2 arachne nests instead of scouring the whole planet for DNA.

Also, Merek Harvestor DNA is really not that great in my opinion. Energy Vulnerable and 60% Kinetic, with 100 Heat and a couple of 50s....

I used to keep my nose to the grindstone in hopes of succeeding through hard work and persistance. Unfortunately I have been grinding so long, the stone has burned through most of my face and into the back of my skull.

75% kinetic, strong poison, dizzy, really high attack..... energy, if memory serves, is the only vulnerability

Back some time ago I used to post "BE Tips of the Week" but stopped due to perceived lack of interest.

The post above details how to find specific creatures you are looking for every time and in fact, I included 8 waypoints within 2000m of each other where Merek Harvesters spawn.

Good luck.

I checked it out, not a bad tip, I think I will try that or Gorath, also has anyone sampled Greater Sludge Panthers on Tulus? Is it fairly decent for resits? Propably 4 months ago, I tamed two and have never seen one since, I thought it might be neat to make some semi-authentic Razor cats from their DNA, only because they always did pretty well in a fight. If you have seen and have any kind of waypoint like this, let me know, thanks!

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

The only time this happens to me is when it's my mission, and one of the frickn' creatures warps 70M and when I go to harvest him, the lair drops of the scope, and sometimes I come back to a fully stocked fully healed lair, which in that instance I DO NOT want. But good idea using to my advantage for once, I tried last night, I was killing Mackalocs (no idea how to spell at work so can't ref) 908 OVQ last night worked great going back and forth killing them with my lvl 57 Merek (home made) may still be high HQ i found a bunch on Gorath travelign from south post to north, they were about a 1-2000 Meters north of south post, if anyone is interested for some HQ herb meat.

I found this (amazingly) through a search for merek harvesters. I put all of them into my pad and when I go to Endor looking for them I cycle through this. You won't find a lair at every one but chances are you'll find some at least not too far away. I've used them three times now and found harvesters every time.

Saturday I found two lairs, one with a death's heads and a harvester and another with a cavern creeper, a harvester and a pair of DMAs. I sampled the harvesters to death and bounce back and forth between the two (about 400m apart) for four hours and got all the harvester dna I needed (more than an inventory full since I got enough for two or three iterations of one of three recipes I was using and then made templates). I made six 30ish pets with light armor, 50-60% kinetic and 10+k health plus about eight other templates in addition to an assortment of lower and higher level templates (about a dozen overall).

This is a good tip and I thank Nemthang for pulling it up again (even if he and I differ on sharing recipes).
