I'm just curious what you master BE's plan on charging for the new BE made pets(after the patch). What are you basing these prices on etc etc. As it seems like the only good pets are going to be yours.

I'm going to be keeping most of mine under the 60k mark for sure.

my prices will be based on the complexity of the order and the CL of the creature cause those determine how much work the creature will be. im expecting my prices to range from 5k minimum to 150k absolute tops.

I already have several orders lined up from people who want new pets as soon as possible after the patch. I think demand is going to be absolutely insane. I also think that pets will have to cost more and the really good ones will be an expensive luxury for most people. The new pets are going to be much more complicated to make, they may take several tries to get the desired special attacks and resists and they are going to take quite a bit of time and planet hopping...not to mention the special creature knowledge and research that will be required. I think most mid to high level special order pets will start around 100k and go up from there.

Personally i have no clue what i'll charge .. i'm usually one of the cheapest BE's on wanderhome .. but for this .... i have a bad feeling on my part .. I'll probably do what i normally do . charge more by a time aspect .. the longer it takes me the more it costs . and of course after i add in all my Shuttle costs .. might be a pretty good bill. But until the system goes in and i have some time to experiment .. likely a day to figure it out .. I can't tell what it'll be. but i could't expect to see a creature go over about 75k

This is another tough one to answer.. I'm already realitivly expensive for high end Rancors and Gurrecks (I've gotten up to 250k for an "ultra" rancor, and 100k for an "ultra" Gurreck), so I'll likely still be expensive

I'm planning on working pricing based mostly in the complexity and level of the pet. If you ask me for a pet that's in the CL 10 range you're only going to be looking at maybe 20-25k at the extreme since there will be nearly no risk involved, only time. However, the CH's that come to me and want that uber CL 70 creature with AE specials, Ranged attacks, high resists, high HAM, high damage, etc, are going to be looking at a minimum of 150-200k, with a possible max approaching 500k+.

Of course, until I actually start making stuff and discover how time consuming it is to make a worthy creature (to put it in perspective, I won't sell a Rancor right now with less than 12.1k ham, 680 dmg, .66 to-hit and my pets commonly have 12.3k HAM with 690 or even 700 dmg, .68+ to-hit), I can't really say what it's going to cost. CHs traditionally folks with a lot of expendable cash and are willing to pay for that extra edge -- those are the ones I cater to. I leave the "average" pets to the other BE's on my server.

To start with I plan to use around the same price as my current Rancor/Gurreck pets for the high end ones. The normal price is 50 - 75k depending on final damage and ham. Figure will use that as a base line and see. I've already had a few request for Kimos and such no matter the dna used. The Kimo skin I'll prob sell at 40K or higher.

I think the kimo skin should be expensive on it's own. That way less people will be able to park it on the ticket collector.

Right now I charge 5-60k (80k for kimos minimum). I will be charging 5-150k after patch. I have quite a few customers lined up.

I think I'll probably charge around:

5k for house pets

10k for the low level mounts (with no special attention paid to resists, specials, etc)

30k-50k for everything else, depending on how much trouble I have to go to, to get a particular special, or resist, or whatever.

Wow lookit all those price lists... All my creature work is custom order, so the prices are going to vary widely depending on what I'm looking to do... a butterfly (I don't remember seeing fliers on the list, but for sake of argument...) with 10k ham and strong poison is a pretty tall order, I'd probably charge 100k for it. DNA from a creature with that special as primary is going to be dangerous to get, and likely time consuming (treking out to BFE Endor).... 'cept I'll proabably continue to dump the occasional load of kaadu on the bazaar for 3k apiece just to trock off the economists in our bunch ;-).

On the other hand, if you're a n00b that just wants a chuba with light colored skin so you can have it do trick1 and trick2 while you dance in the cantina, I'll likely charge you 250 credits for the time spent sampling yard trash.

Soooo 'pends on how much life and limb I have to risk to get the materials.
