Can MBE sample DNA from a CL75 Mutant Rancor?
Only reason im asking, is i have noticed if i use /conceal from ranger for camo kits i tend to fail however if i use /maskscent i can sample just fine so im not sure if this is just me or if it happens to others as well.
Thanks.
Mutant Rancors are the highest mobs we can sample. Not sure about conceal vs. mask scent since I'm not a ranger.

IMPORTANT NOTE: when sampling mutant rancors, always store you vehicle before attempting approach--they will find and destroy your vehicle--they did it to me twice in just 2 days.
Actually I never found this to be true. I always just stop moving and wait. Most often you can remask and continue. Once you get within 40m there is a good chance they will aggro when they detect you. If that happens they often aoe bleed and the entire nest start fighting each other and then it is really pretty much over. I have waited out the fight popped off a few shots to get harvest rights and then continued in to sample the survivors, but it takes so long it's hardly worth the wait.
I used to see this all the time, but you know what? The last 4-5 times I've gone out to get dna I haven't seen this happen once. Perhaps something has happened in this regard. Have you seen this happen recently?
Agreed though about re-masking. You have a decent chance of being able to continue.
Also, dunno whereScout iscoming from re: mask scent. Generally my mask scent holds just fine unless I come across the real uber (CL 70 and above) stuff, then of course it breaks much more than it holds. I certainly wouldn't fathom going dna hunting on dath without my mask scent, mask scent clothing, and jawa beer.

Yes they no longer agro each other which I consider a good thing actually don't have to go find another spawn while they all kill themselves,
I agree, you can always go back in if something aggros you. Waiting for those mutants to kill each other off took forever. Funny, when TH and I were out getting screenshots for the guide I made a comment about the aoe attack. Wonder of that had anything to do with it.
