Thread: Now I don't feel bad about overpowerd CL10 pets
Im actually omw to dropping the whole class, cancelling my second mule chef/tailor account and going MCH/Spaceflyingguy. Seems their class actually makes sense. They obviously have no idea of how they want this class to exist in the game. They've marginalized CH to the point that it is just a collecting class. They've made doctor/entertainer buffs so good that the benefits we can actually give to chef food calculates out to a 13% increase in overall HAM (proof at the bottom). We've never been able to prove/disprove that our clothing tissues ever really add any benefits. It's like we already dont exist. With the space expansion, will we be able to offload onto an asteroid and sample any of the creatures on it? Of course not, you cant sample the giant worm thing cause it is obviously going to be cl76 and the mynocs wont be any different from the ones already on lok.

vasarian brandy gives +500 for 45 minutes (filling even with duration)
doc/ent+brandy modified HAM: 3200/2900/2900/3200/2900/2900/1500/1900/1900
total increase 1500 points, %change=6, divide by 2 is 3%
vecupti gives +1200 for 12 minutes (high filling)
doc/ent+vercupti modified HAM: 4400/2900/2900/4400/2900/2900/2600/1400/1400
total increase 3600 points, %change=18, divide by 2 is 9%
doc/ent+vercupti+brandy modified HAM: 4400/2900/2900/4400/2900/2900/3100/1900/1900
total increase 5100 points, %change=25, divide by 2 is 12.5%

CL as applied to droids does not and never did equate to CL in creatures of any kind (wild or BE)
The CL13 Tag presently is there to prevent players from having a CL10 creature out at the same time as a droid..and for no other reason.
As to CL18..its just as meaningless...there is no direct comparison..and nor should there be, creatures are not droids and vice-versa.

It's honestly ridiculous, the "balance" in this game. First of all, you have the PVP pull for CM/Riflemen, since both are overpowered. That causes serious pvpers who don't want to be CM/Riflemen become Doctors (to help mitigate, not even counter!, the poison and disease). Then you have the insane nerfs for CH and the planned nerfs for BE. And they're going to add four MORE professions? Please...fix what you've got wrong already, SOE...
This reminds me of the kid who sits at the table, eats half his food and asks for more. Only, they keep on asking for more after a nibble from each plate...
Now I wasn't going to respond, but seems I have to.
"pull terminator out of my pocket' ??? Have you any experience of the droid usage at all, its hardly terminator.
And, the reason CL even exists for droids (as opposed to what it should have been -DL) is because Raph Koster aka Holocron decided way back that he would treat droids as pets, which they never were and never should have been. The man was Pet Obsessed, thats why he left Ultima, cos they wouldn't let his pets run riot there..or something like that 
Study the animations, the artwork, the pure beauty of pets in this game and you might see what I mean..but perhaps not. The work that was done was immense.
Different entities, pets and droids, with different attributes. It only makes sense.
And yes, I do care that you have no resolution to your 'whats legal' question, but it's hardly the DE's fault that you are not told, just the normal SOE attitude to customer relations. I expect they love inter-class fighting..it no doubt produces hours of enjoyment for them while mucking up balance everywhere.

Trolling is not rude. There are people out there that like to read what's going on with other professions. Maybe to see if it's something they might want to try, or to better understand the concerns of people of that profession. One would think you'd like to encourage more eyes to view your posts.
Are you telling me that because I don't have a character on Bloodfin, I'm not allowed to go to the Bloodfin board to see how the imperials are doing, or read about some of the guilds on that server? Maybe I'm looking to create a character on that server? My point is not to flame you, or make fun of you.My point is to say you ARE mistaken by telling people to stay off this board unless they are BEs. Last time I checked, these boards were a part of the SWG community.
