Thread: Gurreck on order, what should I expect?
Hello, I am a MCH on Eclipse and I placed an order with an 'almost master' for 2 gurrecks. I briefly looked over the boards to see what kind of stats that a BEed gurreck has, but was unable to find anything. I was wondering what I could expect and what I should expect.
We didn't discuss cost but that is slightly irrelevant, as my friend really likes him. But what should I expect to get for 50k, or 30k, or 15k?
And what kind of stats are considered 'high-end' and what is normal? I love cat pets and I want something nice, but I don't expect a 'Krayt-weapon-pet' either.
I have always liked the idea of buying some godly pet that was grown in a tank, but I don't want to set my expectations too high or throw my money into a sub-par pet.
So, if you could let me know what to look for, I would very much appreciate it.
A good Gurreck should be 12.2k HAM and around 620-640 Damage with roughly 1.5 Speed.
A real top-of-the-line Gurreck should have close to 13K HAM and 630-650 Damage.
Mine go for 65k on Shadowfire.
you are making a mistake buying a high-end pet from a non-master. its aconsiderable struggle to get a BE gurreck over wild stats without master.
11800 is wild HAM(right?)
anything less than 12200 HAM isnt worth buying.
12700 HAM is good.
580-590 dmg is good
13000+ HAM is very good
610+ dmg is very good
keep in mind that dps is the same no matter what the dmg is (attack delay goes up along with dmg). some people argue that higher damage is better because it loads the damage into the front end of the battle, but i personally prefer a quicker attack since pets seem to do a special every 10 attacks or so.
as for price, the time it takes to get the DNA that will give a gurreck "very good" range stats can be anywhere from 30 minutes (very lucky)to 5 hours (average)or more, so pay based on what you think his DNA gatheringtimeis worth. my very good gurrecks go for 80k to 100k and are no easy task to create since the new DNA sampling system went in. note that a non-master will be lucky to hit 12700 HAM.
yesterday i made a Gurreck with around 12600 and 605 dmg (hoping more than 13KHAM)
well im 4/2/4/4.. i used high quality gurreck sample (taken from .. gurreck took me about 1H20 making crap gurreck /sample ... making crap gurreck .. /sample...)
sold it for .. 29 K (cheap no ? ... but i wasnt sure if the stats were really higher than in the wild.. )
Resources are different on every server
Yesterday, a guy send me a tell. Are you a CH can you tame this pet... he was a nonCH and handed me a Gurreck.. hehe and it had 10.2k ham.
I am sure the Gurreck had flees
Boene, you mind if I make a character on your server so I can see the Gurreck that has 630 damage at 1.5 speed, or one even remotely close to that.
Shadowfire? By what town?
yea i caught that too. iread it as a typo. 2.5 is the right area.
and greenstock, resources have only a marginal effect on the final stats of the pet. i was working with good resources, DNA is what makes a pet what it is.

What good resources will do for you is limit the chance of losing that Uber Gurreck/Rancor from a critical failure (is there any worse feeling in the game?). IMHO, the better quality resources have less critical failures than the crappy ones.
Erais on Scylla
ok, but realize you are also disagreeing(sp?) with kel who specifically told us this is how it works.
Greenstok,
Actually, Idid that gurreck in my first days as a master BE. With 3rd generation Kimo samples from clones and 999OQ meat and flora I had been hoarding.
I admit, I shouldn't have posted that example. We can't sample our Kimo clones anymore and it bears no meaning anymore. I appologize. You are still free to create a character though, and hunt down the nameless CH who bought it.
Maybe put a bounty out for him/her.
