Thread: BE creatures ARE more powerful than wild creatures...

I just want to say this, because over and over again on our forum, I read a BE saying that our pets are awful and that CH's can tame better ones from the wild.

I have done this experiment with 2 animals, and I was consistently able to make a Narglatch that had 600 more HAM and did 50 points more damage than the wild one that I had in my datapad.

This also held true for the Veermoks that I made, with 300 more HAM and doing 30 points more damage.

These are the only two animals that I had tested, because these were the two for which I had access to stats. However, I would assume that this holds true for any and all creatures that I can create, as long as I am able to sample DNA of high enough quality and level.

So, please, don't hurt our market even more, by suggesting that CH's should ignore our product because it can be trumped by something in the wild.

Really?

In that case i'd like to buy an animal from you. Can you make me a CL34 creature more powerful than a Graul Mauler please? Thanks in advance.

Yes they can be. Have to use good stuff is all and the DNA in proper places. Why I think we thought that can't make better then wild is the critter levels of what we make and what is wild. Take the Kaadu. We make level 10. The male is 14. So gee maybe the Kaadu male is better because it is CL 14 and not just because it is wild. Brack I make are 400 ham more and 20 more damage then the wild one I came across that is 2 CL higher. Care has to be made in it is all.

No we can not make a creature CL 34 stronger then a graul mauler. We are limited to the pets we can make, and this is where it goes wrong lol.

I can get you a lvl 35 fambaa, but guess what? They are bugged...

The best under CL 34 is a snorbal of Cl 30, and guess what? They are bugged aswell.

So for the CL 26+ creatures you better go find em in the wild, unless you want a CL 50 rancor, BE's can get you good ones

I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.

While a properly constructed BE clone is superior to the EXACT same animal in the wild, I have to make sure you haven't read my posts, or another BE, talking about the subject of BE vs CH pets.

I know I can make superior Rancor, or a superior Torton, or a superior Gurreck, or etc.

What I can NOT make is anything superior to a vast array of wild animals. Graul Maulers, Bile Drenched Quenkars, Rock Beetles, Mountain Kreevols, Dalyrake Harvesters...

Just want to make sure any of my posts haven't been misconstrued or misunderstood. When I gripe about CH vs BE, its the vast variety of critters I can't make and I can't compete against. The majority of the population also knows that a BE is limited, and that BE clones (when properly constructed) are superior to the exact same critter plucked from the wild.

HAM and To Hit will be higher..... we won't get into DMG, Attack, Damage per second arguments though

I am a Master BE and a CH 3-3-0-4. Out of 10 pets I own 2 BE pets, a Kusak and a Kaduu.

For fighting, I have 45 pet levels and use 2 pets.

Pet 1.... Grand Wrix, CL 22, 6500 ham, armor, hits for like 220.

Pet 2.... ??? Mite, CL 23, 6000 ham, armor, hits for like 265. Does ranged attack, same amount also.

MY QUESTION... what does BE have for me?

Yes the clones are better than their wild versions.... however, we have the Dewback which is better than the wild Dewback at CL18. Oh but wait, there's the Mountain Dewback at CL20 that is something we cannot compete with. Since at the moment the CHs go from CL15 to CL20 which do you think they'll go for?

The problem also extends further than that, what is the best CL15 pet at the moment? Is it bio-engineered? Nope, it's the rock beetle and mountain krevol. This problem extends across all of the CL ratings, the wild animals are usually better at each stage. Plus one more thing... if this was just OUR opinion then why does the designer agree with us and in the process of totally changing how we make clones?

Hey Greenstok, BEs don't have anything for you, but on Tatooine you'll find Dragonets very nice. 9100 HAM, ranged dizzy attack, light armor. I've got three.

Issues:

1) Small number of different critters can be cloned, and 1/5 are bugged. CH's have a much wider variety to choose from. For almost every level of CH skill, the CH can get a better pet for free in the wild.

2) One of the few competitive pets that can be cloned is the Rancor. But only by a master BE.

3) Good high level clones require high level DNA. To make a top-of-the-line Rancor, you need to sample lvl 60+ creatures. And since we can't sample lvl 70+ any more, you're limited to a VERY narrow range of creatures to sample from. All of which have a tendency to kill you.

Here's the deal on our best pet for each level of CH. Typical HAM's and dmg using mediocre materials.

Novice CH and others - Lvl 15 - Kahmurra - 2450 HAM, 145-155 dmg

Taming I - Max Lvl 25 - Bolma - lvl 25 - 7200 HAM - 220-230 dmg

Taming II - Max Lvl 35 - Brackaset - lvl 26 - 8300 HAM - 215-225 dmg

Taming III - Max Lvl 45 - Brackaset - lvl 26 - 8300 HAM - 215-225 dmg

Taming IV- Max Lvl 50 - Rancor - lvl lvl 50 - 10,400 HAM - 605-615 dmg

Master - Max Lvl 60 - Rancor - lvl lvl 50 - 10,400 HAM - 605-615 dmg

Note that there's a big gap from Lvl 25 -50. And nothing for Master CH. And at every level you can find better just by walking around saying, "Easy. Don't bite met." This sucks.

the armor ratings alone are what make people not use our creatures ... good creatures in our skill tree

Kusac ... sturdier then most cl16's and a good dual combo for CH's taking advantage of the dual pets before the nerf

Rancors ... BE rancors are end game pets for CH's atm .... CHARGE WELL FOR THEM ... aside from stim packs (YUK) they can be your bread winners.

in addition to this comment .... The reason we do not sell our (superior) pets to the exception of rancors and very few others is because nobody would tame that exact strain of the animal in the wild as there are better variations most of the time (see dewback vs. mountain dewback)
