Thread: Bio Engineer and Creature Handler
for those with this template: how much extra do you charge for pet training?
i'm nowhere near master as far as handling goes, but i tend to outfit all direct-sale pets with every command i know. it often occurs to me that i should charge a bit more for the service... but i've been lucky in that i mostly deal with likeable, friendly people who i don't mind cutting a break.
i'd love an idea of how much others factor in as far as a complete package goes. price buffers are our damage mitigation.

See i was planning on Master CH, Master Bio Engineer and Master Medic... which means no combat skills at all... but surely the ranged attacks of some pets and the tanking ability will put you in the same league as any uber template stacker... also once the CU kicks in - bacta spray and bacta toss will ensure all my pets stay alive even while i keep my distance...
Was just hoping to make the pets with the engineer and train them with the CH... hope it works that way
You've been reading my mind.

- pets sometimes ungroup and vanish for no reason during a fight
- pets sometimes do not do what you tell them
- pets cannot be called out during combat and if you are attacked when you pet is not called you cannot defend yourself
- pets cannot keep up with a swoop or travel in a ship so you have a delay everytime you travel in anyway, and if you are attacked when you stop the swoop/get off the shuttle, you cannot defend yourself
I think the question is more ... can you really do MCH without another combat profession?

While it sounds like a perfect template in theory, I orignally droppedCH infavorof a vibro-knucklerbecause:

Now this makes perfect sense....especially since i have been on my otehr toons a TKM since they were born (outside fo the usual grinding process)
Now that I am getting into CH...the list above does fall into play, but I have always wished to be a CH and really did not want to change my template to meet the needs of a CH, SO this is a risk I am willing to take, except that first point you made.....sometimes it has cost me my life when i am about to go into battle and the cat is off killing durnie's.....![]()

I see what your saying... and its the type of response i was after to be honest.
The only problem is that there isnt enough skill points to go around and bio engineer is something i want - and the best thing to compliment that is MCH... i have pure combat templates on other servers and want something to offer people with this new character... So on another not do Bio Engineers and MCH make money?
