Thread: factory schematics
Once you get your factory, what you do is create the item you want with exactly the resources you want to use, then at the end of the process you choose "create schematic" instead of prototype. Then you stick this schematic in your factory, along with all the exact resources it uses (the factory will read you a list from the in-use schematic) .
Then you hit start manufactruring! Thats it. Pretty simple for tailor things like synth cloth. =D
So inserting one schematic into the factory does the trick for however many you're going to make. Alright, then what is a "100 run factory schematic", or are they referring to the output of 100 items from a schematic?
And thank you for your help, by the way. ![]()
Oh okay. Now I see what you were asking =P
At the time you make the schematic you can choose how many items can be made from it before it dissapears. You can slide the slider to antyghin between 1-100, but you can type in up to 1000 (bug or feature? We dont know)
You probably dont need one that goes to 1000 because you have to always have the exact resources on hand for that schematic to work. Or if you are selling your schematic to an armorsmith (the other tailors might get mad about this) you can limit it to 100 items or less so they have to come back to you later.
Does that help?
That helps immensely! Thank you. I now get it.
Again, thank you for the help.

Actually you can't!You can add a zero to the 100 and make it 1000, but I tried to set one up for 250 (cause that's how many I needed) and it won't do it. So instead I made one for 1000 and just left the ingredients for 250.
I think that pretty much indicates "bug" not "feature."When they fix it, that'll hurt even normal players. And thegrinders will have apoplexy. On the other hand, combined with factory xp changes, it would reopen the market for schematics.
Same serialed Janta bloods. As in, its not gonna happen.
To make factory runs you need: avian meat, reactive gas, 3 abec's (from factory crate), 2 crdm's (from factory crate), and 1 sds.
Basically you are limited with how many buff packs you can make in one run, because you are limited to 1000 abec's with matching serials ![]()
Nice try on the Janta though
I wish that worked, I'd kill a lot less Jantas.
How can I make lots of consumables, like missiles, chaff packs, etc?
Why does my Master Artisan skills count for nothing in this profession (back to zero on experimentation)?
Sorry if this has all been said before, but it's frustrating to climb the Artisan profession only to be disappointed when doing Shipwright.

OK, new Novice Shipwright. Why can't I create schematics for my factories?

um......welcome to crafting. Artisan skills helps no other crafting profession. does help merchant in having an extra vendor and such, but nothing in crafting of higher pros.
For SW only comsumables and subcomponents are aloud to be made in schematics and factories. This is by design and majority, not a big majority but enought like how it is now. So, there will be no change in the factory support.
