Thread: I love Bio Eng but I need help!!!

Well I just startedBio eng and I have been grinding my way to the top and loving it one of the best professions in the game. I will be keeping it as mymain profession. No holo grind for this cat. My problem is I have no clue what I'm doing? I gather DNA samples and the make the data disk but what factors make a good data diskor is it all a random thing. I have added all five samples with strong poison and then the data disk comes out with dizzy strike? where did that come from?
Also stats in myDNA samples, some have great stats but it says it a below average sample and then I get others with crapy stats but this is an above average sample? Which is better to use and why?
Also Experimentation. What does what? I mean what makes a pet with low challenge lvl, what makes a pet with high ham.
If anyone could answer me this I would be forever in debt.

Go to the How to Make a Clone section of the FAQ and start reading from there. I'd read all the way throughfrom that point.

You might just as well surender the entire BE tree...
If you dont have patience to read the simple faq, then you sure aint goana make mutch of a BE anyway...

Wow thanks for your support. Like I said I read it. I guess I'm just retarded beacuse theer are still things that are not clear. But I guess that my fault for asking. I wont bother posting in here anymore.

I too am new to BE. I have questions, I have read the faq, found alot of answers, but it has also raised other questions. Perhaps because I have not made it to the hands on part, it is theory and so it is still unclear. But to have someone new ask a question such as myself, or the one that started this thread and get the responses that have been posted here. I would have thought that those that know would be a little more understanding, but instead I see that those that have responded are just rude...

Now , lets take this one step at a time, if you had only described your question, now , lets once again, take a look at your ONLY question...

This is your starting thread, and the only questions you have made so far, so well, if you claim to have read the FAQ , but still need to ask those questions, then you do simply not belong in the BE profesion...
People who make very well described questions get answers in here all the time, and they have read the faq, cause they DO have a clue what theyr doing, and they know that the FAQ do have its issues, and to that , they ask questions.
You walk right in, claim to have read " some" of the faq , and then ask questions , that to me sounds like:
"How do i build a house, i really love being a constructor, and for now i have figured out i need bricks, i dident pay attention doing my constructor leasons, i only read what i thought was important, and i dont care about reading all the other answersspread across this board, so would anyone please explain me from scratch, do iuse concrete orglueto put the bricks together?"

I've been a be since the begining even when the prof didn't work at all. Yeah you guys are not getting a nice intro into the prof. LAY OFF DUDE! The fact is you can read the entire guide three hundred times and still have questions. Not one BE in all of SWG has all the answers. The fact is there is hardly any real documentation on the process and no facts have been provided by the devs. Everything learned by this prof. has been leaned by a grueling process of trial and error and all of us still have tons of unanswered questions. The who DNA process is weird and hard to predict and there are so many factors that go into (more than any other prof.) that its really srewy. I'd like to say welcome to the profession and all you can do is spend a lot of time in the forums and learn from trial and error. There are some guys like TAL-N who post a lot about recipes and such and can help you out. Other than that, I wish you luck and fun.Pretty much all we ask is whatever you learn share it with everyone so maybe we can finally one day figure this prog out completely.

I dont have all the answers either, but i sure do have a clue what i am doing, but this guy still dosent know even though he claim to have read the faq...
