Sorry for the Jackas. First suggestion, Print out the FAQ so you can refer to it when you are playing. Second suggestion, look through the threads for similar questions. Third, ignore the 'I AM GOD OF DNA' idiots. If after reading the FAQ, you still have questions post those questions. Try to give as much info as possible and be specific. Some of those questions will have answers, but some may only have guesses. There is no official documentation. We all learn a lot by trial and error. We are not all jerks either. If you have a lot of questions you might try contacting a Bio-Eng on your server.
