Thread: BE Clothing for Jedi Hunting

Cross posted this to the BH forums as well.

Since none of our armor is LS resistant, it seems to make sense that we may not want to even wear it to hunt Jedi. I've seen others with this thought as well. If one were going to hunt Jedi, what would be the ideal combination of BE clothing to wear in order to maximize your defensive / offensive potential of an MBH? There seem to be so many choices, I'm not sure what makes the most sense. Any BE / Tailors fill orders in this regard?

Thanks,

Grom

IMO the only choice for BH is melee/stun defense tissues.
Theres nothing BH specific and mask scent isnt going to help you against a jedi Maybe injury and wound treatment to boost your stim ability.

Aye, for hunting Jedi i got a jacket with +4 / +16 def mods, pants with +4/ +17 def mods and +17 IT/WT mods and I wear an ubese shirt that has various AAs attached to it. Of course you have to be careful that he doesn't have any friends with him (usually do in my experience) else you may be caught with ur armour off.

I really don't think that even +25 would help, it's pretty strong stuff.

Whats sd is that we cant make LS resiatnce items...they had creatures on certain planets that where immune to the force and to lightsabers, yet we seam to be functional retard scientists when it comes to bio-engineering.

What the super sad part is...that in the movies and in real life scientists go way beyond the bio-engineers in ths game.

Anywise...you best choice for clothing is bleed defense and anyhting that prevents knock down.

But i doubt that will help much since a light saber can kill a player in one hit, unlike the heavy weapons in this game.

And whats super sad is that a saber throw has no penaties to it like a weapon being fired in this game.

Wait didnt even think about this but....

this wont work against NPC jedis...but for players.

Get the uped hiding clothing......you know the ranger skill.

It will make you then invisible on the player's radar and make you very hard to see on the map....of course they can target you but might work well for a sneak attack with some friends.

You should be able to get the jump and kill the jedi player super fast....never tried it...but its worth a shot i guess.

There are animals in the Star Wars world that are immune to the mind control powers of the jedi, but I'm not a star wars 'fan' per se so I don't know their names. I would like to see them introduced but I think there are more pressing issues at hand

My favorite is the Intimidate and Warcry clothes, I wear +16 pants and shirt. Makes Intimidate so much easier to stick. Intimidate is possibly the best skill in the game when it comes to fighting tough enemies.

The creature in question prevents force powers from being used around them. There are countless threads on the CH boards about it. Comes from a specific planet and their name starts with, or incoporates a y. Can't remember.

well.... I used to say that my +19 bleed resistance clothes helped the most (this was during the bleed exploit)

but now I say melee def/stun def if your all ranged

and if you have a BH/Brawler(TKM most likely)/medic or a BH/Pistol/nov medictemp I'd sugest this outfit

  • Parlimetary camos with Injury/wound treatment (+19 is best I've done on any single combat mod) AND intimidation/warcry mods (if ranged substitute with melee def)... (this is the only article of clothing I've found that will accept four mods)/// there may be others... /shrug

  • Melee def/Stun defForm Fitting Undershirt

  • Melee def/Stun def Jacket/robe/duster/etc

  • Melee def/Stun def double bandoleer

  • +25 Injury/Wound Treatment Sungauard

Sure it does. It doesn't encumber HAM, but it costs Force points from the pool (which is constantly growing but is constantly consumed by force powers). Like mind (most pvp'ers won't hit any other pool), force pool is unhealable.

you can transfer force from one player to another, if you have the skills.
