Thread: www.swgcreatures.com DNA Laboratory
The formulas used have been taken from these forums, mainly Sumorex and Mirrl. The data comes from the SWGCreatures database.
The page has a couple of small problems and could use a little enhancing which I'll work on.
Give it a whirl and as always, feedback is welcome!
Damn fine job.
I noticed there was no pre-set data for the merek avengers ![]()
Other then that, I cant wait to try it out ![]()
Oh, one more thing
The drop down window cuts the names of the longer named creatures short...
There is 5 or so listings for the BMB variations... However, they all only display the first several letters of their name and then stop leaving me guessing what variation the BMB is...
Are the resists calculating properly? I put in a formula I know gives me 60KR vuln rest, andat first it gave me ??? for Kin Blast and Heat before experimentation. I had to go inand manually set all Effectivenesses to 0% Specials to get theBlast and Heat vulns to show, but I still wasnt getting a proper Kinetic to display, as it said with experiment I could get myKinetic only up to 58.75%, which I know isnt true.

You should add the Health/Action/Mind caclulations in the results area, using these formulae (these seem to be the most accurate to date)
Health = Hardiness x 15 + Dexterity x 3
Action = Dexterity x 15 + Intellect x 3
Mind = Intellect x 15 + Hardiness x 3
ZardoZap's CL formula is quite good in many cases, but I don't think it is quite well enough refined to use there just yet.
Very nice work! I have a standalone program very similar to that, with the ability to load samples and save combinations, exp notes and CL results as well, but your extensive database of DNA is a great boon to the program you have there.
LLan
Very nice JuntaoTakor!
There's a few inconsistencies, but all in all from what I've tested, it works pretty accurately.
I'll post the news on the main page of SWG BioEngineer ![]()
