Thread: Question about MR resampling

I know that MRx5 is about the surest way to get a cl75 pet. I also know its a damn high risk trying to resample 5xMR pets. Has anyone tried though? It seems that, although you'd have to be a masochistic psycopath to actually do it, if you made enough 5xMR pets and maxed their Health and Damage as much as you could with experimenting, you could resample those and make a 5xGen 1 pet that would probly come in under CL70 and have a lot more HAM and damage than most CL70MR hybrid formulae. I'd imagine upwardof 13k ham and 600+ damage could be attainable if the system works like it does for the lower end of the spectrum.

This is just an idea based on my experiences with making multi-gen non-CH pets with high HAM and resists using a 5xLast Gen approach to whittling down CLs. Has anyone thought about or tried it before?

Don't do it.... if you want to know why go to -1000, -2900 (just outside Bestine) In the back room there is a Woolamander examine him.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

It's not a shure way to lvl 75 as you think... It's an unsure way to who know's what... or in the case of the Woolamander a lvl 85 no resampling no taming waste of space... This was from my first bundle of MR DNA... Got 10 samples first 5 CF'd. Second set all VHQ (which I did have in my head I didn't want to do) But Had to try it thinking that 70 was so far and if somehow I did cross it, I could just resample, ha!

If you do what you were thinking with the experimenting on Physique and stuff you will be sorry... just mixing the five w/ no experimenting you will get... I don't know.

mixing all the two with no experimentation got 72 from someone who told me that........ also why the hell would you want to put 5 samples of the same thing into something just to resample it?

all you're doing is lowering the effective resists and there's a possibility of no armor *twirls finger*

droid,

If you are interested in ham and damge in a CL 70 critter, I think there are probably much better ways to accomplish that then by resampling CL 75 dna templates. Don't forget that you probably have like a 1 in 10 chance of succeeding with each attempt lol, and also from what others have said, experimenting fully on a 5x MR combine yield something well above CL 80 anyway.

If you want to maximize "raw" HAM (ignoring resists)and "raw" damage (ignoring to-hit and speed)on a CL 70 critter, clearly you'll need to accomplish this by nerfing the resists and "to-hit" values, which is actually kinda useless if you think about it, but makes for a good academic excercise at least. I think the best way to accomplish this is just by being extremely selective about what MR samples you use (there is a wide variation of values), using ones have real high ham and damage in the appropriate slots, and then introduce something that has poor resists and vulnerabilities in particular to energy, but high ham and high damage (merek harvester and vexed voritor come immediately to mind). I think that will give you your high ham, high damage critter. I've been meaning to try this actually, lol, I'll see if I get some time this weekend
