yeah i know thats the better way to go about it, practically. I was thinking more of a hypothetical exercise, more about the nature of the crafting system than generating a formula for marketable pets. And even with sampling the best MRs, there's a ceiling to what you can get HAM-wise when you only do one generation, especially when you dilute MR DNA to get it down to CL70. I was more just curious if we could discover a "back door" to get CL75-level HAM down into a CL70 package, like we can get CL40 HAM into a CL10 package =)
If we could sample DNA up to CL100, and it was proportionally easier to get the CL75 samples, then I think we'd be seeing a lot more multi-generational CL70 pets, and more useful ones at that, rather than the standard "X, X, X, and MR" philosophy for the top-level recipes. But as we can't, I'm just working with what we got hehe
