Hello all:

I know this has been talked about , but i would like everyone to sign or post your opinions. I have been a BE for a month but i heard under the old system you were allowed to calculate the final CL of the creature you were making. I think it would take the hassle out of orders. Instead of telling someone "yea I MIGHT BE able to make you a cl45 pet", wouldnt it be nice to say "Yea I CAN make a cl45 pet"

I'd be happy to just see the CL on the initial creation of the generic template (pre-experimentation). Then I could decide if I wanted to invest the experimentation points and chance changing the level or not.

it would be niec that, while experimenting it also shows you the change in CL. So say your initial template produces a CL52 gurreck, when you put 2-3 pts into physique, the CL jumps to say CL54. this would give us better control over our experimentation

I think this is actually quite difficult. There seems to be a certain amount of randomness built into the final combine. The success level of the final combine seems to effect the final stats of the creature. (I think, we still haven't cracked theactual CL algorithm) This would mean that the the CL displayed would be more of a predictor than an absolute. Of course I'm quite willing to live with that. Kinda funny that the second worst thing that could happen on the final combine is an amazing success though. (It predicted CL 35 but I got an amazing success so now its a very nice CL36). All that having been said.

we need somthing more then a shot in the dark, it gets fusterating when we shoot our selves in the foot repeatedly.

I'm all for seeing the CL during template stage.....would help alot in determining what skin to put it in.
