I think Wayub and the BE dev ran off together. Has anyone heard from our dev in the past, oh...4 months? I don't mean second-hand from Talthazar or our past representatives. Do we still have a dev? Maybe his fingers are broke and he can't type out a short timetable for us...that would also mean he can't write code either.

I feel like a little boy whose parents got divorced and who hopes and prays everydaythat daddy will call or write, but he never does. But still I hope. But now I'm starting to feel like a guy who waits on his date at the diner but she never shows. Now I'm pissed, the darn woman stood me up!

This is really getting depressing. Another month...at least! Don't know if I can hold out any longer. We are totally missing out on mounts. We should have been the go-to guys for mounts. Instead we are the "I'm feeling too lazy to run around and get mount for free so I'll buy some today"-losers.

I guess our lot in life is becoming the Vet we all never intended to be.

The "dev" aka Keldarin, has never posted here. That was Holo, he posted here a few times giving us updates on what Keldarin had to say.

Unfortunately, I think Holo is too busy these days to come by and drop us some info - however, if I'm not mistaken, Talthazar is communicating directly with Keldarin. So the only major difference is that a blue name is posting it rather than a red one.

I get the feeling Keldarin thinks it's below him to post to us peasant players. Instead he works through his proxy to toss us a few scraps every now and again.

On the subject of the Dev being MIA - The only improvement we have seen since about May was the change to Tissues that brought it up to about 80% functionality. DNA Sampling was also changed, but it was a nerf rather than a bug fix. The sampling macro was also removed, so we weren't paralyzed during sampling.

What I'm pointing out is that the BE profession is about 60% functional and we're all begging for it to be finally fixed. And we're still getting nothing. Is Keldarin the same guy that's been working on it all along? If so, then I can't wait to get a Holocron that will kick me in the ass to drop this profession.

Thanks for the one star! Just trying to put this craap in perspective. Why no word? Why no timetable? It would be the polite thing to do. By not responding to our pleas he is ignoring us and that is just plain rude!

Just wanted to point out that your correspondant has a thread entitled Information from Keldarin (something like that anyways) that was started on 11-7-03. Just because they aren't posting on this board doesn't mean they aren't hearing you - it's one of the reasons there are correspondants.

I've read it. It's not posted by Keldarin. Our correspondant doesn't write the code and he doesn't set the date. It would ne nice to hear it from the horses mouth. That's all.

Thanks for adding your 2 cents, Jeassa. I think you posted after reading the subject line, but ignoring the content. Keldarin reposted almost exactly the same info from the last time we heard from him, 60 days ago. We're still waiting for anything new about the content, a date to expect to see the Cloning update on Test, or something similarly substantial. What we got was ... a response. Feel free to point out the obvious some more. We have slightly higher expectations.

You realize that Jeassa's was the third posting to this forum by an SOE representative? Q3P0 appointed a correspondent, Holocron relayed the Tissues info, and Jeassa told us that we actually ARE getting news from the Dev. At least we're better off than chefs and pole-arms.

Sorry, I hadn't read the previous post so when I read it I didn't realize it wasn't new information. The thing is that we can't spread the devs out over posting and doing their development duties. Correspondants help with this and so does Thunderheart. I peruse this board pretty frequently but I don't play a bio engineer so I'm still orienting myself with the profession.

The "scoop", from Keldarin, is pretty much what we were told two months ago. The timetable then was "next big patch". It came and went. We got a several tissues fixed. Enough to hold us off for...(gasp)"the next, next big patch". Well it's almost here and where on test center are our fixes?

TH and JustG are saying "hopefully this week" the patch will be live. They are both being noncommital about it and for good reason. Our fixes aren't in it. We would all just like to know when are we going to get our profession fixed?

Of course you don't. No one from SOE does. Only people with severe personality disorders do. As demonstrated on this board every day.

After months of waiting, what we really want is just4 simple pieces of info.

Just before the last big patch, the dev said that the cloning system was all doneBUT it missed that 'patch window' thus it would be in the next one. We are here on the 11th hour of 'THE NEXT ONE' and there's not a peep on the cloning system.

1.Sowhat's the story?

2. Is it coming in this one?

3. If not, when?

4. Was the dev lying when he said it was all done?

These two piece of info does not require research work nordigging through the database nor require any work. It should require less than 60 secs of the dev's time to answer it and most importantly, it requires HONESTY.

How hard can this be?

I sense a deep silence after my post......... ..... .....
