Thread: New to tailor tissues...Need advice

What is the best way to get large amountsof Eggs....what is the best dropping style of lair....ways of ensuring the largest harvest....most lairs per area on a planet....any on missions.....i dont car about quality that much...if i use good quality everything else with my experiment points, what ever I make will make my clients happy....and how do u get mollusks.....? Thanks for the Info

I usally watch for a good meat spawn that I know docs will be buying then I advertise I will buy the eggs from that planet. Last time I did this was when Rori had a good Avian spawn and I advertised that I would buy Rori eggs for 80-100 cpu. I ended up getting about 4.5k eggs

When I was grinding my Jedi, I collected eggs from all the lairs....in a week, I'd gather about 1k. Ask your guild Jedi to collect them for you. The only thing you have to do is stay on them or they'll forget.

The best way is to get on a bike with the radar set at 1024 or so and buzz off in any direction looking for squares on the radar.
Highest density of lairs seems to me to be Endor near the Science Outpost, but I'm sure there will be differences of opinion.
One recommendation, though, is to avoid any lairs that actually have the creature type in the title, as these are people's missions. Granted, most people don't collect their eggs or live samples from the lairs, but it is very irritating to those of us who do to not be able to get them from the missions.
Although on a given day it seems like certain types of lairs are more likely to produce eggs and certain types live creatures, it doesn't seem to me to be consistent from day to day.
Take full advantage of swgcraft.com to get the best eggs you can. If you are going to the trouble of collecting, they might as well be decent quality.

WoweTezzie, you didn't ask for this advice, but I'll offer it, since you are a new user.
If you would like your sig to be an advertisement for your vendors, I would putmy server name in my profile and on the sig, as well as a waypoint on the sig. People from all servers use the forums, and the info could be useful to those on your server.
I would also add my vendor to the list of BE vendors on your server found in the stickied threads at the top of the first page.

One thing i have started doing this week is killing a lot of ewoks on Endor while i'm out searching lairs. The little furry buggers are dropping resources and occasionally they drop eggs. and when they do they are in the quantities of 300-500. that's a lot of lairs searched to get that equivalent. I've collected about 6k of eggs in about a week with at least 4k coming from looting ewoks.
not a guaranteed method but something to supplement the lair search.

Ugh. Why do the developers always seem to put BE's in these predicaments.
Killing EWOKS? Not many people have the stomach for it. I certainly don't. I wonder if anything else drops eggs.

Cavemen (Jantas, Mokks, Dantari) On Dantooine
are also dropping resource containers.. eggs and fish...
This seems to be the best way to get them as you get
much higher quantities, though it is completley random
if they will drop it or not.

I think that's due to server not restarting every day. Once a wild lair gets searched, it's empty until server restarts.

Well, the most bang for my buck with eggs came when I was getting Yavin insect meat. Yavin has a ton of bird things that sawn from nest lairs. 19/20 of them have eggs. The same might be true for the birds on Endor that have the nest lairs.
As for actually collecting them, I used a speederbike instead of my swoop, and I didn't even have to slow down to search the lair. I suppose if you got good at it you could do the same on a swoop.
P.S. Kauri Ewoks are going to suffer a grave population depreciation. I've been looking for eggs recently, and I'mnot going to let a few Wookie wannabies get in my way. =)
