I was making pets and started falling asleep while experimenting. Don't do that at home kids.

Looks bugged to me, but who can say for sure.
By bugged I dont mean that it looks unreasonable for its level or that its terribly overpowered, it just looks like its made from similar combinations to the low level bugged pets - there is no way to know for sure, but personally I dont worry about it once we're into the CH (and skill point spending) levels.

With all the talk of over powered pets that just seemd like a really good pet for CL38.

It is a really solid pet for its level, and once someone has spent that many points on CH, they deserve it
Honestly, dont worry about your CH pets too much

It is. I have been trying to make a tank pet for me and see everything that he needs in that DNA. I am also pretty sure that I can get the HAM higher too. I will have to try it again after I get caught up on my pet orders.

I would say it really depends on the stats that you didn't list. What are the other resists (particularly energy?). Is this one of those that is vulnerable to every thing else? If so, I'd say this is not completely unreasonable as far as CL goes, but if it's got much in the way of other resists, then yea, I'd say it was a, um, fortunate accident, lol.

I have a Narglatch very similar to that, its CL36 with 13k health but only 53% Kinetic (with light armor of course). I say not bugged. I agree with Nancy that we do not need to worry about the CH-only level pets so much.

It is really good, yet typical of the high 30s low 40s pets. It seems fine and balanced for it's level. The problem is that it doesn't get much better than that. Maybe 2k more HAM and 200 more damage. All that for 30 or so CLs higher. So our pets have the law of demishing returns with higher CL when it should be more of a linear scale.

I dont think that pet is bugged - I can reliably make a pet similar to that (or a small bit lower in CL if Im willing to sacrifice all his resists). I think its just very nice for its level.

Hi pippin,
To get a higher pet you need mutant Rancor DNA and Plainswalker DNA.
Now for the reason you want a higher level pet. Most BE's focus on gee, only 2k more HAM and 200 points of damage. I really don't care about those things, what I see in the CL 60 to 70 pets is that their ferocity is much higher and their cleverness, intel is much higher. Plus you push that fortitude over 500 and bingo you are going to get some armor on that puppy. And armor is very nice.
If the combat balance goes through, and maybe nancy can answer this some time, CH pets with light armor are going to be a whole lot more effective than pets without armor.
Lastly, I don't see how BE's can not be included in the combat revamp for one simple reason, we are providing the Master CH with his most useful weapon and we can significantly alter combat in that way.
If someone can come up with a pet that has
10K HAM
Light armor
and roughly 60 to 70 percent resists across the board
We really need to talk
