Hi,

Im new to the forum but need some explanation. Im a Master BE/ Master CH on Wanderhome. I have made an outfit that gives me a total bonus of +26 on taming vicious and taming wild creatures. However, I havent found or noticed a pet that I couldnt tame as a Master CH that I can now that I wear the outfit. Please tell me what the benefit of the BE cloths for taming wild and vicious creatures are for a Master CH, because as of right now, I see none.

Unless perhaps it lowers the already small chance at master of a failed tame, what you're seeing is correct. There is none.

Only under the new system will you see a benefit since you can have a CL70 pet.

Ahh, but everything comes under the umbrella of one stat now. There is no longer "This is the highest you can tame".

If you can tame it, you can use it.

If you can use it, you can tame it.

That target is CL70. And I believe that CL60+ tamables are going to be very very very rare, so says TH.

BE's are going to experience a hefty surge in business after this patch for CL 70 animals.

The borderline pets like the Maulers and Rancors can be used a lvl before others and taming is a lot more sucessful

why do people still think that the taming tissue raises the level of the pet you can tame/call? It doesnt. It only increases the chance you are going to tame a creature vs. not taming.

all the enhanced BE CH Clothes add-on's do is raise the chance for a succesful tame/train, with Rancors, our any baby that when fully grown is near the CL50 Range it helps a TON

I think there's confusion over the purpose of the Tranquilizer tissues. They don't increase the level of pet you can tame, rather they decrease taming and training failures. In other words, you won't fail as often when taming and training. That's all it does.

Ok I tested it and here is what I found

I had one gapping spider hunter full grown cl 44 and viscious

My skills where 3/4/4/4/ so the highest i could tame/call was lvl 45 non viscious

I tried to call it without the tissued clothing No luck

but when I put the clothing on that had the tissues in it I was able to call the spider

So it does help with taming as well

I also did this with a wild gapping spider i was trying to tame

Without I was unable with I was able and i got it on the first try

The tissue was +16 to both visious and wild

When you say you havd "taming vicious and taming wild creatures" is that the standard +taming from tissue made from milk?

As someone mentioned, it helps on the borderline pets. Things that you have the pet levels to call, but not high enough skill in taming vicious creatures. Basically means folks can get GM's at 2/2 instead of 3/2, etc.

The current system won't allow you to attempt to tame a pet if you have less than a 15% chance of success. The CL has some indirect effect on your chances of taming a pet. You cannot call any pet you couldn't tame. Thus, if you were at say 14% chance of taming this critter, you couldn't call it even if you had one given to you. If you put on your special outfit and you now have a 15%+ chance of taming it, you can now use that pet.

It's not the CL that changes, it's the taming.

Give me a shadowed forest into which I might disappear.
Give me a terrible foe and stack the odds against me.
Give me friends and creatures with whom I can share my adventures, my losses and my gains.
Let the gales blow and the world be torn asunder but don't make me stand alone against the tempest.
