BEs make vitality packs. Factories are broke (need to redeed them every time you switch schematics). No final BE product can be made in a factory. New pet stims and vitality packs take hard to find expensive materials. So what does this me?

It takes forever to make them and it costs quite a bit to make them. Hence, very few BEs actually make them for the public.

Good news though: Thanks to all you CHers complaining about the issue (SOE doesnt listen to BEs so we rely on our consumers )the Devs have now acknowledged the factory problem (even though it has been in there since beta) and have some fixes in the works.

So to all you CH people out there who have complained about pet stims and vitality stims I thank you. Who knows how long it would have taken the devs to address the issue if you all hadn't complained.

Bio-Engineering is still THE most broken profession. Yes, that's right. Even with the first fixes for bio-engineering half of skills produce products that are worse then what can be found in the wild. For the record, DE is not as broke as BE (stuff works it is just that a lot doesn't make sense).

You are welcome!! It is common fact that we are the prized possessions of the devs. Long live the CH and down with the scummy BEs the devs can be heard saying as they laugh gleefully.

/sarcasm off

Give me a break. BE is broken, I wish they would fix it. But its not my fault or any other CH out there that BE is broken.

I presume that just like repair tools you do not want to use vitality packs until the pets get close to 1/100 vitality. Is that correct?

Will be interested to see what happens one a pet hits 0/100 vitality and if the pets start having a negative condition.

Well... the lower the vitality... the weaker the HAm of your pet.

My pet was down to 88/100 used a vitality pack and he was back to 98/98. Sad that I forever lost 2% of HAM stats.

I wish vitality would return him to 100%. =(

eXeDoggy, I was being serious about CH players helping out BEs. It was not until a BE product directly effected another profession that BEs have heard any news on fixes. I really did mean it when I said thank you. It does not matter if in fact CH players have a better connection to the devs or not. The fact is once BEs had a product that directly effected CHs (due to regeneration nerfs of pets) BEs are now getting some fixes. Have you seen the stats on how long it takes to make a single pet stim A...almost a minute. Now why should any BE spend sooooo much time making pet stimpacks and vitality medpacks, using hard to find expensive products, and gaining more non-BE xp then BE xp just so that we can make a few credits. Many of us make them for our friends and PA and charge a lot for the public since it is such a pain in the butt.

Caridac, the devs do not want pets living forever. That is why their vitality goes down as it does. Personally I think vitality packs should heal back to normal but I really doubt the devs will make that happen

Would someone please fill me in on what vitatlity packs are and where I can find them?

I'm a Creature Handler and my pets have the option to receive a vitality pack, but I haven't one. And yes, I saw that their total HAM has beenreduced when examining them from the datapad -- I believe the vitality pack will restore their possible hit points (for lack of a better term) to their original number.

I've asked several players in-game and no one has a clue. Any help would be appreciated.

Vitality packs restore pet vitatlity but at a cost to max vitality and HAM.

For example, Dolly the cu pa, is at 40/100 vitality with a HAM of 440/1100. I use a 58 pt. vitality pack on her and restore her to 94/94, with a 62 pt. loss in max HAM or 1038/1038. Subsequent vitapack uses will reduce her max vita/HAM further so these should be used as infrequently as possible.

Are these as good as food? What exactly are they good for?

Also do I need to be a medic to use them?

Vitality packs are used to restore lost vitality points when your pet is incapped. Your pet loses a small amount of maximum vitality in the process, so you shouldn't use them each time your pet goes incap. I usually wait about 10 points then I get a vitality pack that heals more than that so I only have to use 1.
