1. How can I tell what level a creature is?

2. How can I tell the maximum level of creature I can tame?

I would think that adding a CL to the examination of creatures is possible.

Master Scouts can see the creature level when they use the examine feature.

I see the guys point in why a CH cant use examine and get the skill level of the creature. Giving a Master Scout only the ability to do this goes against the requirements to even get Novice CH. Since all we need is Exploration and Hunting IV.

So adding this addition to giving a CH the ability to view the creatures level would be much easier to decide in what you can and cant use if you are not a master.

Exactly how do you know the level of a creature? Is it something only CHs can see?

It's ironically not a Creature Handler thing...it 's a Master Scout thing...Also, Ranger skills expand on what can be seen such as Special Attacks, etc. Although that feature is "broken" since all the Special Attacks now just show NONE for all creatures.

Question for all you be's:

I am a nonch so i can have non-agro pets up to level 15 (or 10 on TC). But what about pets where level was experimented on? A ch friend of mine gave me a level 8 be falumpset as a mount, however i could not control it. Does the fact that it was orgianally a ch pet mean nonch will never beable to control it no matter what level it is?

Have you had an CH teach it all the commands?

if "mount" is the only thing it's been taught, then you won't be able to control it otherwise.

Give it toa CH and have him teach it all the commands.

Actually I'm guessing this is on a live server and this was a partially grown falumpaset. Full grown falumpaset are cl 18 so a non-ch would not be able to control them.
