Thread: How to make brandy for BEs
Actually, it was probably because he got so frustrated and "snapped"
)
He started out really well here http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=60058&page=1
But then he sort of lost itafter here http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=60517&highlight=thank+you+all+for+your+input#M60517
Shame really, as he seems to be one of the fair Chefs that charge 150k for VB.
I'm gonna give him a "5 star" for effort, BE's are a pretty frustrating bunch sometimes

I think the 1-stars were for his dictatorship attitude to BE chef additives
Thanks Brista. I was only half serious about this of course, I too would certainly rather go the cooperation/parnership/can't-we-all-just-get-along route, but all the chefs coming in here and whining about prices (without first taking a hard look at their own) and telling us how cheaply our schematics should be sold/given away has sent my frustration level through the roof.
Duh, we don't know about mass production as one chef put it. How freakin hard is it to transer things from your heavy flora harvester to your factory anyway? They act like this is rocket science.
HOW TO MAKE7 MILLION CREDITS IN ONE WEEK WITH ALMOST NO EFFORT OR COSTS
Do you do this by making additives and tissues? hell no. Those are worthless by comparison. At the "chef-suggested" price of 40k/crate you'd have to make close close to 200 crates to make that kind of money. The way to do it is to make food and use your own tissues and factories.
If youdon't have all the skillsBrista mentions, you can just do it in steps. For one shift just put heavies on water, wheat, berries, fruit, and gemstone. That'll cost you what? maybe 100k in maintenence and fuel? Have a friendly tailor or anyone with master artisan (droid engineers or whatnot) make schematics for light additives and large glasses. Then have a novice chef make you a alcohol schematic. Then have a master chef who has no regard for his profession make you the brandy schematic.
You now have a lifetime supply of brandy, or, if you choose to sell it, you could probably get 200k/crate easy (particularly if you use hyper yeast)and still undercut the chefs in a big way (even though your brandy won't be quite as good), and yournet profit would be 200k x 40 - 100k - tip money (or as some chefs would say... what tip money?)= well over 7 million credits. Oh, and you should still have enough materials left from that one shift of harvesting to make at least 7 more runs of the stuff if you choose to (assuming 100k of harvesting).

because some people have different views and opinions than him and naturaly he then deservea 1 start dont he ?
/shrug
I really hope BE and Chefs will come to some understanding on the pricing on additives.... Some BE's clearly have to realize that there is more job to Chef than they think (Making the tissues IS alot easier....) And some Chef's clearly dont realize the cost of making the tissues with the meat prices that exist.....
If we could come to an agreement between 20k and 75k a crate i would be a happy BE.... I would love to supply Chef's with this, but atm i can't make a business of it on Farstar.... Im doing a auction there on 40 crates of str 87 BSN and only got 1 bid on the minimum bid of 1 mill....and a reply that 1mill was to high as minimum bid for BSN.....well a few hours left on auction so we will se.
this is so funny. this talk on pricing and how to. this would hold true to anybody wanting something. Get the stuff, give it to that profession master and geee. you could have a life time suppply of T21's brandy, anything. Only thing to stop it is the greed and guess what, there is alot of that. I laugh so hard when I seen the price of a crate of BSA. For the forces sake.... the meat is priced at 100/part to make it at the prices they asking and 3c for stuff that is from harvs. I flat out think ther is to much money in game then for people to be paying that price then people buying the stuff and so on down the line. But I can't put stuff on my vendor at the price I think is right and that is 10c/meat with 3c/ mined stuff. You know why??? There has been 5 people so far that buy it and place right on ther vendor at the market up price. Result.. private sales to guild cheefs and tailors. They in turn put on private vendor fare prices for us. Why? cause we so sick of the jacked up priceses and we all have a mill credets with nothing to do with other then pay for jacket up prices for the jedi stones. On public vendors we sell the high priced stuff and the profits support them in guild that wants them stones.
I think this game has moved from pet wars to greed wars.
<gets of soap box still laughing about prices>
LOL! Ordlander that's a crack up.
Actually I have seen people buy items off the bazaar and place them on their vendors for more money. The funniest part is that people buy those items ![]()
Who's the fool, the fool or the person following them?

Yup, and we will get there eventually. Things are too new right now, so there is a lot of tugging and pulling. From what I hear it was the same thing with armorsmith and tailors in the beginning.
Now...why am I having a one star bandit in this forum? ![]()
