Well I recently discovered that you can distill down nonCH pets to at least 3k/1k/1k 60KR and have them still be legal...I sold one for 95k just yesterday. I did this using (to the best of my knowledge) all legal and nonbuggy DNA. Still, 60KR on a cl10 seems a bit extreme, what do you all think? Working the system or working around it? And is ~100k a fair price for a pet of that caliber?

Well its me once again.

On my quest to do the best lvl24 pet for my personal use, I fell over another uber lvl10 pet:

lvl10, 9832H / 5291A / 3298M, 59%Kin 44%Blast Vulnerable Rest, AS: 1.98, TH: 0.22, D: 120-130, S1: Crippling Strike, S2: Intimidation, R: No.

I was able to reproduce this pet several times.

I collected several lower level Mobs to Stack Vulnerabilities for my Tank pet. In this case I used:

Greater Sludge Panther, Greater Sludge Panther, Kima, Savage GufDrolg, Kima. I maxxed Physique and Psychology.

For second Generation I used:

Merek Harvester, Merek Harvester, 3x 1st Gen Clone, maximizing Physique and Psychology again.

Results see above.

For third Generation I used the same formular as second Generation, just with the second Gen Clone DNA, maximizing Physiqu and Psychology again for following Result:

lvl21, 10963H / 5829A / 3586M, AR1, 60%Kin 5%Blast Vul Rest, AS: 1.98, TH: 0.22, D: 130-140, S1: Crippling Strike, S2: Intimidation, R: No

Well, this is the best non-ch uber pet recipe I have found. A few of my friends have pets like these and they are, hands down, the best CL10 pets.

I should add, for the longest time I boycotted making these as I always felt it was an **edit** thing to do... make non-ch toons creatures that are basically level 20+ in stats...

Well I heard a rumor that the droids can now be made with up to 6k ham (I have not personally confirmed)... Well, if thats the case I see no reason for me not to make these for the public anymore.

the LE-Repair droid has like 5.9k HAM.... so basically 6k, with a trade-off in much lower dmg

I know there have been experiments in the past where CL10 creatures dueled droids. I'm curious if anyone has attempted to repeat the experiment after the droid revamp?

Unless you use a recipe such as what I posted, you usually end up with a pet that has 1k-4k hams, with 35-80 damage, attacking at 1.98-2.35, a to-hit 20-30%, and only one or two RES (usually one is kinetic) that rarely goes over 20%.

So a fast attacking droid with damage in the 80s and res across the board with 6k is better then what a CH can make without basically exploiting loop holes in the BE crafting system.

Whats going to happen when SOE gets around to focusing on BE again and our CL10 pets? I believe it was already stated to Talthazar that even 4k hams are not what was intended (anyone have that link?)....

In a 19 questions response, TH indicated that cloning is as much an art (some would say voodoo) as it is a science. After two CL modifications and validation checks, I'm comfortable crafting and selling anything the system will legally produce.

I make 10k/6k/5k 60kin ~200dmg, sell them for 300k and people won't stop ordering them.

Lozareth is long gone.

I was one of the first ones to make the 8k ham uber 60 kinetic non ch pets back in dec 2003. with non bugged dna

now peeps seem to be makin them everywhere.

Theyare not rare and are in fact expected by customers

actually.... if you read out BE friday feature (which i know most had to go take a break from to prevent any monitor smashing and didn't read the whole thing) it said that nonch pets will end up around 4k HAM..... of course this was basically paraphrased from Tal-N's crafting guide with getting hardiness <250, fortitude<100for around 4k health on a nonch pet /shrug

While any BE worth his salt can indeed make a uber lvl 10, I simply cannot condone making such an obviously over-powered non-ch pet. These pets are so plainly not what the devs intended and would kick the crap out of a wild creature as high as lvl 25. I think that making and selling pets of this ridiculousness is only hurting us as a profession. The BE that do this are begging for our professionto be negatively nerfed again. They have already told us that 6k on a lvl 10 is too much. If BE's continue to make pets so disgustingly overpowered, all it will accomplish is drawing unwanted attention to our profession. We all KNOW there are problems with the pet checks and problems with the profession in general. But I can't help but think if pets of this type continue to be made the devs will simply change the pet check to ensure we make nothign more than the equivalent of the wild creatures with the ability to manipulate specials and resists. Obviously at lvl 10 with 1-2k ham ... a dizzy special wouldn't matter as teh pet would be incapped in about 10 seconds. As i stated before there are obvious things wrong with BE currently, but to state things with a simple cliche ... two wrongs don't make a right.

JayceMilam does have some valid points however, i think you must realise that the whole point of bio-engineering something is to make it stronger, is to remove vulnerabilities and bad traits, andto make it better than its natural counterpart. but in the balance of things, making something that could take down something up to 3 times its level is ridiculous.
