Thread: Training a non-CH pet.
If someone buys an unTamed pet, yes they will have to ask a CH to tame it and train it for them, unless they special order from you and you happen to be able to tame and train it for them(if you are a CH).
That is why MCH's never run around with thier tag showing, much like MBE, and MSmuggler.

Most CH keep at least 1 open slot in their inventory. The problem your customers may be running into is some of you customers expect us to train and tame for free. They feel they paid the BE a ton for the thing and can be quite rude when, after spamming tells to a MCH who is in the middle of a mission, and learning some will not drop what they are doing and travel to them to tame it for free. Besides missions, this is the only revenue left to use after the last round. Mounts replaced by vehicles and Pets replaced by BE pets.
On the training question, even a Novice CH can tame the deed but to name it and train it some of the more useful commands like trick, group and others they need a few more boxes of XP. I would suggest you customers ask if the CH can train the commands they want.
Again, since missions are our only real source of revenue, most will not stop in the middle of a 20k mission and travel back to town to train a pet for 1k. I will not. If I happen to be in town and some one asks for training, politely, I train for free. Some of the pet names they ask for are, frankly, embarrassing. I then have to take the time to explain the name filter. Then answer half a dozen questions related to using a pet. It is not unusual for it to take 5 or 10 minutes from start to finish. Some customers are appreciative some are just plain rude. Most CH have given up selling pets completely and would actually be losing money for training. Most could finish a 20k mission in that time frame.

Non CH pets can, however, be transferred via the datapad, so any level of CH will do to get the basic commands
Taruk, just remember when making non ch pets, to use non agro skins.
If a non ch buys a lvl 10 choku and hands it to a CH to tame and train, he won't be able to get it back, since you cant give agro pets to non ch folks (they dont have the skill to control agro pets).
To further confuse people who find themselves in this predicament... the error message you get for trying to trade an agro pet to a non CH tells them "they have too many pets already"... and says nothing about the agro problem.
Just a heads up sort of thing.

As a Master BE and Master CH I have to agree with MrHawat. I am fortunate to be able to do both. However my datapad is full of beloved pets that I am simply not gonna delete since someone wants there non-ch pet trained.
I try to keep a slot open to occasionally help people outand often people seem to expect this service for free (not everyone). Since selling tamed pets is a no go in my opinion I dont blame a ch for charging 5-10K to train a pet. No real income anymore besides that and missions as indicated. I have received many tells in the middle of a mission or while sampling for assistance. If they are near by I try to be neighborly and help out. And sometimes my datapad is full and I can't take a pet for someone.
