Thread: Training a non-CH pet.

Non-creature handler pets do not require the transfer command and can be traded in the trade window. Any pet CL 11 and above requires the transfer command to be tradable. The last patch moved the transfer command to Master CH. Basically, this means that when a non-master CH trains a deed it can only be used by him until he makes Master if it CL11 or higher pet.
Ohhhhh, I think thats the missing bit for me. A CH can train a deed without taming it? Sorry, if I'm being dense about this.

Cwhippie, wait till SOE decides that the major sorce of income for tbe BE is missions and then you will understand. You do not seem to be able to use factories, every other crafting class can. Funny, CH could not use factories or vendors.... I guess the Be profession is not a crafting profession. You can only fool with making things. You can not make schematics, you do not have to buy things from aharvesters. You just walk around and get you stuff "free."
No, this is not a nerf calll. I like BE's and help them as much as possible. I suspect you will be next with the nerfbat. You got hit a few time already just to get you attention. Look at CH to figure out where you will end up. "Ok, I agree three Rancors at novice is excessive" that ends up being a profession that is useless and unplayable. Why are you next with the bat? You help the dreaded "Uber" Creature Handlers. Heaven forbid that you could make something useful to a CH.
Actually My income is from Missions. I make use of a Factory, and I use harvesters. The second part of BE is Chef additives. I just ran off 900+ micro nutrient additives so that friends of mine could play around with them. I currently run 2 generators for power and a single Flora Farm. To say that we do not have to go through the same pains as other crafters is only part of our profession. As for getting stuff for free... when was the last time you saw someone in coronet shouting - "Free Meat"? And as everyone on this forum is aware - When a creature dies from sampling we cant harvest ( I am not complaining). I would be more inclined to say that CH's get thier stuff for free then saying anything in the BE class is free, but truth be told CH's and BE's both have to work to get what they want, and be efficient. Good pets dont just fall in your lap, and good samples (and all the thousands of organic resources) dont fall in BE laps.
Another simple way to look at my argument of CH not being a crafting class and BE being one... What is the exp BE's need to level? Crafting. What exp does the CH need? Not crafting.
As far as nerf's. I am a CH, until recently the CL 22 creatures I had tamed where far better then what I can craft. I still have CH, and plan to get to the point that I can train some of the more desireable commands to Critters I create as a BE. Do I have to? no. But it is for my enjoyment that I do so. Lets say SOE gets a wild hair up thier backside and hits BE with a NERF bat teh size of a mature reptilian flyer, I will still Master BE, you know why? Cause like you I enjoy the class I am playing. Like you there are other reasons to play then just the power game so many others are interested in. So come Hell or High water I will be a MBE,CH,Surveyor cause damn it I enjoy it. Besides they cant nerf us for another month, SOE just finally made it possible for us to get milk and mollusks, it will be at least a month till they swing the bat this way.
OK, I finally tamed, trained (I'm also a CH 0111) and transfered a CL10 razor cat to my alt. Thanks for your help guys
I get it now.
