Thread: what are you going to be after this goes live?
Yeah, although I'm still seeing red, I'll give it a shot for a month to see how it turns out, but I've already moved on (refer to sig 
).
Spy sounds cool. We'll have to see exactly how the skills look though. Maybe medic too.
I'll be keeping jedi on my jedi. I dunno how that's gonna work though.

i qualify for both of those.
the fact that we can't get an SOE employee to come to this forum (or the CH forum, or the TKM forum, for that matter) - to express condolences to us - or at least a promise of one, when they get around to writing it out - is shameful.
i understand corporate/business nonchalance, but this is really a negative model of how NOT to instill loyalty in a customer base.

I'm probably one of only a few MBE/Dancers anyway!
I'll miss the cantina nights where our dancing creature handler folks brought out their dancing pets too. The sight of a mixed bag of various professions all dancing 'basic' in tandem, surrounded by a slew of dancing banthas, dancing cats and one dancing baby kimogila still has me chuckling.
I've been MBE since, umm, about 4 months into the game. I was an entertainer most of the way through beta (beta 1 here), Been mayor of a huge roleplay city, I still dance 2-3 nights a week in our current RP city.
I never had enough skill points to make Master Dancer tho, so now I'll get a chance to give it a try.
And if dancer doesn't work out, I'll try medic. I won't be trying any of the combat professions tho, I'm still bitter about the CU 'nerfing' me so that I get whupped by a baby veermok.
- Dancer/jedi (yes, I have kept 0040 dancerand have had a "completed" tempate for quite awhile) will probably become an Entertainer (Yea. give up jedi for Entertainer. Totally against what all of SOE's customers want and ask for. I know... I would have respecced out of jedi after the CU, but jedi skills could not be used for other professions and there is no way to drop FS skills once getting Padawan.)
- My MBE/MCH/Merchant will probably be a medic (I'm thinking medics are getting their med crafting back) or trader (if traders can craft clothes and foods, then it will be appealing since clothes and food are consumables and I've not been a chef or a tailor yet. Tailor is more appealing, but I have millions of units of resources that would work well for chef.).
- My Ranger/Rifleman (love collecting animal resources)...Not sure what I will do here. I actually used my final respec last night to go MBH and try the NPC BH missions (No need to gather resources over the next couple weeks). None of the new stuff sounds appealing currently. Perhaps trader or medic (whichever my second character is not). Perhaps cancel this account.
It is just too early to tell what to do.

Myself, I'm thinking perhaps taking Jhaeryna either TRADER or OFFICER, and maybe my alt SMUGGLER or SPY.
I am going to give it a look as well but only because my account is paid through feb of next year. I may even enjoy it for a little while but since I'm just gonna be one of 9 clones no different than any other that picked the same class it will not last beyond feb. I mean seriously how can they call this an upgrade when going from 34 proffessions with many possible templates to only 9 proffessions with no difference between 2 of the same proffession.

If this comes to life (somebody shoudl wake meout of this nightmare) I'll cancell the day they install it on servers, there are several options where most of our guild will move, we still testing...
I hit the cancellation button although I have 4 months left on my subscription. I was stopped from deleting. The game holds no joy for me now and although I love my entertainer and the weekly player events I help put on being only an ent 24/7 amid all the bots and AFK'ers is not my cup of tea.

Cancelled..both accounts and moved on to "the other" game with 95% of my guildmates and several friends.
FYI...a close friend had 3 months left on his account since it just renewed..he called up SOE customer service and they shortened his time, refunded his credit card and he's now done on Nov 9th. Just something to think about for any of you that may have renewed for the year or a period of time you just know you wouldn't have paid for if we'd known what was going to happen.
