Anyone know what the level cap is for non creature handlers? I'm taking a stab in the dark that they're limited to creature level of 0 pets, but if anyone knows if it's higher let me know. Thanks.

I am sick and tired of having non-CH's buying even 2-3k HAMor Armor 1 pets and running around using them as tanks! These should have been cute little pets for LOOKS ONLY! At the very most the pet should only be able to take 3-4 hits in combat before keeling over. You don't bring your house cat or dog along to fight bears or people shooting at it with shotguns do you?

This is just one more kick of sand in the face of CH's. The max pet level for non-CH should have been 10 or even 5. Imo it should have been nothing at all.

I dont have a problem with it, i'm making some nice money and when they get em killed in PVP they'll buy some more off me. Better to make future customers now, ready for when mounts come out

I'm not a CH. The patch notes talking about non aggro pets only for Non-CH's doesn't give me real information. Does this mean all the people with cowardly gurrecks and rock beetles will need to buy other things? (LOL I just bought a gurreck last night - hadn't even used him yet)

Assuming this is so, what will the top end options for Non-CH's be now?

Cowardly Gurrecks and Rock Beetles are Non Aggro. So you are ok.

Bearded Jax are aggro, for instance. (Non Aggro are animals that appear on your radar in the wild as yellow dots, aggro appear as red) Once they are a pet they do not appear as yellow or red on the radar to you. But this refers to their wild status.

A creature Handler has to obtain Taming II or higher for a chance to tame an aggro creature. That is why Non Ch's will not be allowed to have Aggro creatures any longer.

Can anyone name a few pets that you dont have to be a CH to use? Some Dude tried to sell me a Purbole scout or something he said I didnt have to be a CH to use it. Just wondering if there was any more Creatures like this?

http://www.swgcenter.com/ (click the "Bestiary - Basic" link on the left) has the CL of every animal in the game.

i believe that non-ch folks can only control pets that are CL 14 or less (not 15) but this is based on the one time I couldn't get a friend to control a cl 15, non-agressive pet. by no means definitive proof.

hope this helps.

I myself used a cowerdly gurreck (lvl 15) before getting CH. Several of my non-CHfriends also use them. My own eye's and experinces are more proof then your talk.

I think one of the best ones is the rock beetle it has ranged attack and somewhat good armor- al 1, some kinetic protection.

Other good ones are peko peko, cu-pa,chared krevol???, bantha... you can probably dig the threats from before - that's a very popular question

Will someone pleqase post a list of Non-CH pets......I saw a guy selling GSPs on Talus to Non-CH people....I had no idead you could do that!

He said you could as long as they were babies.....is this true....If so can I also sell non-CH people Grand Wrix Cubs?

By the way devs.....A group of Cats is a Pride, not a pack. A group of Herbiverous creatures is a herd not a pack...and a group of flying creatures is a Flock, not a pack.

Anyway a nice list of Non-CH creatures that we can trade to Non-CH folk would be nice

If you want to face a lot of really angry customers a few days later, sure, you can.

Fact is that non-chs cannot call GSPs or Grand Wrixes when they're fully grown, as you need taming 1 / training 1 to be able to wield them.

Non-CH pets cannot exceed difficulty level 15 and have to be non-aggressive. Popular non-ch pets are mountain krevol, charred krevol, cowardly gurreck, rock beetle, forest slice hound, kahmurra, male roba, spineflap handmaiden.
