I tooknovice artisan, and got myself a mineral survey tool and a flora survey tool. Since you can use any resource, go thru the list of resources on the mineral tool and find one that is plentiful in town, and rename the waypoint. Do the same for the flora tool. I was able to find 80% wheat on one side of town and some kind of ore at 73% on the other side of town. Stock up on these and craft away!

I found a 98% petrochemical deposit using a chemical survey tool, so that takes care of the basic inorganics requirements.

With scouting skills I get more than enough organics. (if I can stop myself from giving it all to my artisan friends in exchange for some new armor or a fancy hat)

I get plenty of metal off the bazaar, and I've got a surveyer working on finding me some water.

If you can't get it on your own, get someone indebted to you and make them do it.

I have just take up a new profession as a Novice Medic. In one night I bought several packs of Stims and built up a decent amount of XP except for Organic Chemistry. My question is... How does one go about building organic chemistry?

Make your own stims and wound packs.

get a chem craft kit, go stand by a chem crafting station in a city and use your resources to grind away!

What is the fastest way to get organic chemistry i have been just making stim-a's becuase the other stims take to many resources to maake any suggestions?

xp comes from the number of resources used in the item

Oh, and use your own stims. You get 30xp from making Stim a's and 15 for using the whole bunch, for example.

You should be getting exp for the stim packs, just not a lot at one time. Please, check again. You get more schematics with each level of organic chemistry

Yes, making Stim Packs should give you exp in OC. If you are 100% sure it is not, its a bug and should be reported immediatly. But no one has ever reported that it is not, so it would be very strange if it were happening to you.

As you go up in the organic chemistry skill you will get new schematics with each new box. Some usefull, some not so usefull. You can press Ctrl+S and you will see your skills. If you click on medic on the left hand side and then click on each box of OC then you can see what new schematics you will get for each box.
