Thread: slow pet turn around/decay.....my recommendations

There is also a greater demand for BE pets than there is supply as shown by daily requests on this forum and from feedback from my customers who all have a rough time finding one to do a custom order for them.
I have more customers than I can serve, demand is greater than supply.
We do not need pets to decay faster than their normal dropping vitality levels.
As for the constant demand for items such as weapons and armour, there is a constant demand because there is decay.
Particularly with armour - if there was no decay then you would buy your 1 set of uber 90% Sliced Krayted composite and then you would never need to buy armour again.
Because of the lack of influx of new players armoursmith's would have very few customers.
Armour is not profession resticted so it would be a one off purchase that would serve you for your entire game life.
This is why they added decay - so armoursmiths get repeat custom.
How you can say my argument is flawed defies logic...
If demand is greater than supply then increasing the demand will only lead to a 'highest bidder' situation which will alienate new players and send this game the same way as EQ where the only way to get anywhere as a new character is to spend your RL money on items, money and powerlevelling.
I'm sure things will settle down a little when the hologrinders are gone but so far only 1 of my customers has been hologrinding.
I dont think there are many well known BE that have a problem selling pets and most have to turn their tag off because of all the tells you get at starports

Being a CH myself I can tell you I have never had a pet decay to date. I have most of my inventory full of BE pets made by my alt. I am able to rotate them out during a nights period of gameplay and never have any incapped. When I come back the next day, all healed ![]()
I will tell you from my experience with BE that you shouldn't spend too much time worrying about the decay of pets. Tissues, stims and supplements are by far where you make your money in this profession. I don't see pet decay being a big enough issue for the Devs to use in time on at this point. IMHO there are many other areas that there time would be better spent that this.
