I'm working up to Novice Chef and now that I'm not far from it, I have been wanting to actually try to sell some stuff. I really have no idea what people will pay for food though, I mean, it is useful, but too high a price will quickly turn someone away especially in this profession. Any thoughts on what you usually sell things for? I will probably give out some free samples first.

Well, the good thing is that not many ppl know how much it's worth...so just post a few of the same item w/ different price ranges and see which one goes first (it's not always the cheapest one).

Also, is there more of an emphasis on getting armour out there? Or on the general quality of the pieces?

How much more do you charge for a 'quality' piece versus a stock item?

Now that I am master i try to farm out as much work as possible anyway, I only sell my sturcture a 6credits per and Thanks a minimun.

I can sell the ore for around 5 per and have people love it. why woudl i sell structures for less, exp means nothing to me now lol.

So it is obviuosly your perogitave to sell at whatever price you like, but remember you will not need that exp someday and then you wil lrealize what folly it is to sell so low

can you post your prices?

the price for a small house seems to be stuck at 10k and pa halls seem to be 300k

I sell all heavys for 100k

All med for 35k

You guys are short changing your selves a bit.

I'm selling small houses on Starsider for 20-25k each with out any problems.

I had one person laugh at my price, while I was completing two sales to two customers. Just be willing to show them the houses ahead of time and spend a bit of time with them. They will come back to you when they want to upgrade

Yeah I have to agree with the other guy. When they can sell resources for 3-7 creds/unit easily why would you sell harvesting machines for the bottom of that? A heavy can pull in a substantial amount of resources in a day. At your prices a miner could easily pay off a heavy in 2 days.

Hello fellow architect,

I am actually a very new novice, i have been collecting resource for the past week with my harvesters during the current resource cycle on my server. Im hoping that when that cycle ends tomorrow or the next that I can start crafting. I would like to hear from all of you about what you charge for the different stuff that we can make. I dont care if you are on my server or not, im just looking for a general idea of what i can expect to charge myself and not be accused of undercutting or overcharging.

I have been charging between 3 and 4 credits per resource for my furniture and other things I can make with Novice Architect. My business has been varied, but people seem to think the prices are fair. You should think of pricing from the standpoint of how useful the item will be. Most people will find a lot of use out of high-damage weapons, but little use out of a chair or torch. That's why weaponsmiths can charge an arm and a leg, then ask for even more.
